A New Dragon Awakens in Mesa Dragon’s Lounge is one of those rare places that earns a true five-star review. I stopped in shortly after noon on a Sunday expecting to check out a new cigar lounge. What I found was a welcoming atmosphere, outstanding hospitality, and a genuine sense of community. The lounge’s Asian-inspired design is stylish without feeling overdone. Warm lighting, thoughtful décor, and a carefully curated music selection create a space that feels both refined and comfortable. From the moment I walked in, Cheyenne made me feel welcome. When I asked if pipe smokers were welcome, her enthusiastic “Of course” immediately set the tone. As a pipe smoker, I appreciated that it wasn’t just tolerated—it was embraced. Conversations started naturally, and strangers quickly became friends. The humidor is exceptional. Curated by Joe, it’s spacious, impeccably maintained, and easy to navigate. The selection is excellent, and Joe’s knowledge of cigars, brands, and industry history adds tremendous value whether you’re new to cigars or a longtime enthusiast. Comfort is another standout. The ventilation kept the air fresh even as the lounge filled up, the temperature was perfect, and the seating made it easy to settle in for the afternoon. The bar program is equally impressive. My Oban 14 was generously poured and properly served, reflecting the attention to detail found throughout the lounge. What impressed me most was the diversity of the clientele. Young professionals, veterans, longtime cigar smokers, newcomers, couples, and families all shared the space comfortably. Everyone seemed welcome. That sense of community is Dragon’s greatest strength. Owner Perry and his team have created something special. For a newly opened lounge, it already feels established in the ways that matter most. Before leaving, I learned about the locker program and immediately found myself thinking about what I’d store there—a good sign that I was already planning my return. Dragon’s Lounge isn’t just a place to enjoy a cigar or a drink. It’s a place you’ll want to come back to. Mesa has a new destination for cigar enthusiasts, and it’s well worth a visit.

This lounge is a vibe! Huge humidor with excellent selection, beautiful bar with all the top shelf spirits you could need, and an aesthetically pleasing lounge interior unique to the local neighborhood. The owners and staff are wonderful and will help you with anything you need. I’m so happy to have this in my neighborhood.

Owners and Management are amazing and genuinely care about providing the best customer service as well as showcasing so many different cigars and spirits to choose from. If you’re looking for a lounge that’s upscale with a grown and sexy feel this is the place!

Such a great experience! The private rooms are amazing and the waitress, Cheyenne was incredible and is attentive and personable!! We came once and keep coming back, we had a great time over and over again!
