RJ’s Cigars deserves an excellent review. I stopped in today looking for a Tabernacle CT Broadleaf toro and ended up finding a shop that feels like a true classic cigar lounge. The storefront is easy to find, casual, and inviting — and the “Husband Day Care” sign out front made me laugh before I even walked in. The selection is genuinely impressive. Humidors plural — and the main humidor is pleasantly deceiving because there’s even more inventory tucked behind it. They have the staples, the premium sticks, new releases, harder-to-find options, accessories, pipes, pipe tobacco, and a very well-curated overall inventory. Everything I saw was clean, organized, and beautifully maintained. The real difference, though, is Rick and Jackie. Jackie greeted me as soon as I came in, and Rick was present in the humidor without hovering — just a simple, “Are you finding what you’re looking for?” That kind of service matters. He was knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely encouraging. I mentioned that I’ve been curious about pipes, and he took the time to show me their pipe inventory, suggest a starter direction, and give me literature to read. I left feeling like I would not be figuring the hobby out alone. Rick seems willing to mentor, not just sell. The lounge itself is comfortable, clean, and relaxed. Great leather seating, good spacing, clean ashtrays, lighters and ashtrays everywhere, nice airflow, and it was cool inside despite the Arizona heat. There were about a dozen patrons during my visit — mostly regulars — but the room felt busy, not bustling. Some were talking, some were reading quietly, and people came and went to purchase cigars. The TVs were on but not distracting, and the overall atmosphere was casual, welcoming, and completely unpretentious. As a Marine veteran, I also appreciated the subtle nods to veterans and the Corps throughout the shop. They offer a discount for veterans and first responders, and they actually ask whether customers qualify, which is a small but meaningful touch. RJ’s is BYOB, which I actually like because the cigars stay center stage. I brought a few Mineraguas and they immediately handed me a bottle opener. This is exactly the kind of place I could see myself visiting once or twice a week. Not flashy. Not pretentious. Just a comfortable, well-run, well-stocked cigar lounge with good people behind it. Highly recommended.

Discovered it for the first time only thanks to the boxes on sale out front, not 3 days ago. Bought my first ever cigar the very next day, plus gifted one to the fella who introduced me to them. Store chipped in the cutter, on the house, dead grateful for that. Friendly and helpful folks, no polite drama, just straight up genuine, how it should be. Intend to go back tonight and try out my purchase in their very homey lounge. 🎧🖖🏽🏕️

I love this place! An amazing selection and great customer service. My boyfriend and I go often and always have a great experience with affordable, quality cigars. I definitely recommend for date nights, hang outs, and anyone who loves cigars!!

Great, relaxed cigar lounge with an excellent humidor. It’s the perfect spot to get some work done or just hang out and enjoy the crowd. Super welcoming atmosphere—and there’s even a friendly golden retriever roaming around, which makes it even better. Patriot and first responder friendly!
