I am a Dollar General customer. My favorite store by far is the one in Altus! The employees are all very nice! They are always willing to help and I greatly appreciate each one of them! I especially appreciate Niki, Justin, Adam, and Chris!

Used to be very disappointed with this store. Recently, a new manager named Nicole was hired. She projects a positive attitude. The store is cleaner, the wait time at the register is shorter. I have a much better vibe now with this store.

Nov. 2022- Nice selection of Fall Decor. Nice employees, very helpful when you have questions, or need help. They added a self check out, but took away 1 check out. So it's a little slow when store is full, and really, really slow when the self checkout isn't working!! They have Twinkie Candy Canes 2021- Most employees are not friendly. Never seems to be anyone around to help, or answer questions.

Store looks no where as good as when Tina was there and put young girls as Manger that don't know how to take a joke after telling them I like to joke with people Don't take what I say seriously then assist Manger says better not joke with gaby she will kick you out of here for joking really better get people that are better with public

*EDIT* Im leaving my old review to show what it was like before, I came in after I heard word the store had a new manager so I could scope out if it was better or not. IT IS! the new manager and team is working their tail ends off down there to keep their store in the best shape that they can, sure there may be empty spots on the shelves but some things just don't come in. I really do like the new manager she is really stepping up the game, especially from the last time I was in here. Where to begin? This place has gone down hill the past few months, finally determined it was the manager, the shelves are empty half the time, I saw someone in a wheelchair that couldn't navigate the isles it was so bad with clutter and not to mention it literally stinks in there like something is rotten, I overheard the manager bragging about the vendors that she had slept with and the workers are nice but look way stressed out and I heard the manager bossing them around while she was on the phone with what sounded like a friend from how she was talking. Very unprofessional and very neglected. I do not recommend going in this store unless you have no other option. Tried calling corporate but she seemed like she could care less and said the store was flawless... guess your blonde then honey.
