I am visiting the area because of work and needed a few things about an hour before they closed. I ran in, gathered some things and the clearance event was going on. So I grabbed a few things that was on clearance that I could use. It would have been cheap enough if the store had honored their own clearance event policy & prices but once I got to the register to check out, the employee there informed me that she was not allowed to change the price of an item when it didn't ring up for the correct price of the 50% off the clearance price. She stated she had been instructed by her manager to never change any prices of items at that store. The store is so full of products on top of the shelves around the walls it's stacked to the ceiling. which makes total sense now why you can't get up the aisles because it's so cluttered and that stuff is just everywhere. I would think considering as much stuff that gets sent in on their trucks that a GOOD manager will be more than happy to try to get rid of some things inside that store. This is clearly very poor management. The lady at the register was one of the nicest I have come across at a register and she also informed me that she only works one day a week which is on Saturdays because she doesn't mind talking to customers and can deal with their coupons better than anybody else that works there can. she said the others are mean and rude to the customers over their coupons. THAT IS SO SAD. (THATS A DG HIRING ISSUE) I will not never go back into that store again and I am reporting it to Dollar General headquarters. As if that will make a difference but i will atleast TRY. I have a big problem with these stores charging more than what they should and what they've advertised because that is why they keep getting richer and we keep getting poorer. Every time I go to the Dollar General either I'm charged more at the register than what the tag says, or they don't honor their clearance prices, or the coupon didn't work correctly. I have had more issues with Dollar General's pricing then any other company or any other place I shop. The manager at this store if this is correct what she is telling her employees to do Should be fired And by the look of the store The employee seems spot on on what she says. So I hope Dollar General will look into this issue and this manager. And if you have shopped there recently you need to check your receipts because I guarantee you you was charged way more than what you were supposed to be.

There is a very special employee at this location. After 100 different store trips. This one stop, was better. Why ? An employee who cares. Does their job wonderfully. Wish every store had 5 like her. Red hair, cashier. Just nice and actually made this customer feel like this location appreciates my business. Wow. What a concept. It shouldn't be such a big deal but nowadays it is. As a small business owner I wish I could Rob this one away. Thank you all I'll keep shopping here have a great day

You can literally spend about a month month-and-a-half on the dollar aisle. Hits wonderful it allows you to live the kind of life you only once dreamed of I'm being serious it was amazing
