Great gas prices, especially if you use Ernify. The bathroom needs a little facelift, but it's clean. This is our usual stop for gas on the way to Tahoe. It is cheaper to get gas here on the way up and back than to pay the 'Sierra prices' at the lake. We also get most of our shopping done up the block. It is a one-time stop for everything. Easy on and off the freeway, too.

Please hear my heart, I have been a faithful regular repeat customer for almost 3 years at this establishment. On February 4, 2026 I purchased $40 of unleaded gas with cash. I also purchased $6 in daily 3 & daily 4 lottery tickets with a debit card (which I do weekly at this am/pm). The cash price for unleaded gas was $4.11. Again, I paid for the gas with cash and I purchased the lottery tickets with my debit card. I then pumped my gas, but the pump would not print a receipt. I then went back into the store and I asked the clerk for a receipt. He then handed me my receipt . Upon reviewing my receipt it showed that I was charged $4.21 for the gas I purchased (the non-cash price). When I informed the clerk of the obvious error, his countenance immediately changed and his reaction was defensive. He then said, "you used your debit card and that's why you were charged $4.21". I politely responded and reminded him that I paid for my $40 of gas with two $20 bills, but he still did not acknowledge that I was overcharged by .10 cents. He then looked at me and shook his head in disgust. Instead of apologizing for overcharging me for the gas I purchased and refunding me the money I was owed, he sarcastically said, "you can get a free soda"(smmfh). Although this man overcharged me, I held my disgust and told him I was going to get a slushy. He looked at me as if I was doing something wrong. Imagine if I a Blackman (yeah I said it, because its true) stole something from this am/pm store, I believe this clerk would have tried to stop me, or he would have called the Placer County Sheriff to report the theft and I would be banned from the store. So folks, please know that it's ok for this am/pm to steal from their customers with no consequences. To show this ignorant and biased clerk what integrity looks like, I went to get a drink (slushy) which was his remedy for overcharging me for the cash gas I purchased. After getting the slurpy, I walked back to the counter and I gave him $1.75 for the slurpy (which actually cost $1.59), and he shook his head as if I was the one who caused the situation. I am a proud American Business Owner. I don't play when it comes to my money. I'm certain that the owner of this establishment feels the same way about his money. I will now give my business to Valero. To the clerk who knowingly overcharged me and tried to pacify me with a free drink , I look forward to karma striking you like lightning! Thanks for showing me how loyal customers are treated at this am/pm.

Always extremely busy. My Earnify points dont work at this location so I won't go here again. Pumps are dirty and trash cans are overflowing with trash.

Great place for gas and beverages and fast food options. Very nice employees.

This place has been out of cold French vanilla coffee creamer for weeks. No note for customers on why. How hard is it to keep the creamer stocked? There's 2-3 attendants working morning or afternoon and none of them can stock the creamer. I've been coming this station for years. AMPM should pay them a visit and retrain. They workers are nice but I have heard lots of customers complain about the French vanilla creamer every time I visit. You can't serve coffee without creamer. The other issue is they discriminate the PM commuters. In the AM they add a cinnamon roast coffee to the list of coffee flavors. Once in runs out, they don't make more. Half the population works PM shifts and drinks coffee in the PM hours. Why don't they get a chance at having cinnamon flavor coffee, which is really tasty, how come it's only for the morning customers? I thought businesses were not allowed to discriminate? If the owner is reading these, please make cinnamon coffee for the PM customers and restock the cold creamer. I will raise my rating. I represent about 15 regular customers. I have informed them to write a similar review to this one.
