Not that my review matters but clerk got triggered that I was taking pictures of the cigars (I like to do research and compare prices on the cigars). Who knows why they are so secretive, but it’s funny they got you on camera but you can’t use your camera lol. Anyways, go to Total Wine and More for a WAY better experience down Otay Lakes Rd. I wanted to try a cigar for the first time,went in with zero knowledge about cigars. I told the salesman I had no idea where to start. He said he was helping another gentlemen and that he would be right with me. After helping the other gentlemen the sales person came and took the time to explain all about cigars. Gave me quite a bit of information. I did not absorbe all of it but did Lear a little. I would recommend this place.

I need to share my recent experience, which was quite disappointing. Normally, I refrain from posting negative reviews because I believe in giving businesses a chance to improve. However, this incident was particularly frustrating. Upon entering the cigar area to purchase cigars as a Christmas gift for my brother-in-law, I was abruptly asked to leave because of a bag I was carrying. While there was a sign indicating no backpacks, I pointed out that my bag did not fall into that category. Despite my explanation, the gentleman at the counter refused to allow me to shop with my bag and insisted that I either leave it outside or exit the premises altogether. At no point did either of us use profanity, but his attitude was clearly rude. I chose not to leave my bag outside and complied with his demand to leave. I hope my feedback will encourage them to treat customers with greater respect in the future. It’s the holiday season, and a more positive approach would certainly enhance the customer experience.

The workers have no customer service skills at all nor do I believe they even know the actual producs they carry in store. Today I arrived at the store 30 minutes early to inquire about dab accessories to see if they even carry any just in case I have to go to a different smoke shop & the worker completely ignored me. Once I did get his attention to ask the question he refused to even listen to me and said he can't answer any questions until the store opens.

I like to support small business as a requisite, but having interactions with an unpleasant individual makes you remember why online shopping is so prevalent. I have been visiting this shop for about 4 months, and in those four months I’ve dealt with 3 people. The 3 people are a man and two women, of the two women there is a younger(23?) and older(mid 30’s-40) one. The older one is an absolute dread, she seems to be a manager or owner. If she is there I would come back another time… she’s always watching something on her laptop and seems mad you interrupted her streaming time.
