Great venue for weddings. The staff is helpful and experienced. Plenty of space and options for layout and customization. The food: appetizers are fantastic, main course (grilled assortment) is good. Hookahs are available also.

I always have such a great time here! The vibe is lively and perfect for a memorable night out with a fun entertaining mix of a DJ, belly dancer, and singer. The food has always been fresh and flavorful, and the staff is actually attentive and friendly. It’s five stars all around! We’ve enjoyed this place so much that we rented out the space for a birthday and their team was easy to work with for planning and set up. Can’t wait to return!

The perfect venue for any event. We hosted our baby shower in the rear area of The Gate and it was the perfect space. The management team was accommodating and helped our planners bring our dream to life. The food was a crowd pleaser and we were able to bring our own desserts cart which was so fun. We are definitely going to use this venue for our son’s baptism.

We showed up last night for a friend's birthday party. With a buffet and a band. When we arrived, an obviously upscale wedding party was entering and we were told our event was canceled. My friend was informed only hours before that The Gate was closed because the owner was in the hospital, and that his birthday event was canceled. Clearly they were not closed. Did they take a better deal? Dishonesty is not OK.

I visited this restaurant yesterday with my family to celebrate my birthday, including a 3-year-old child. It was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience I have ever had. If I could give it zero stars, I would. The Service: Non-Existent We placed our food order at 8:00 PM. By 11:00 PM—three hours later—our food had still not arrived. Throughout the entire night, not a single staff member approached our table to check on us, apologize for the delay, or even ask if everything was okay. The service was utterly negligent. We eventually had to ask for our food to be packed to go because we couldn't wait any longer. The Atmosphere: Toxic and Suffocating The environment was unbearable. Despite being an indoor restaurant, customers were allowed to smoke cigarettes and hookahs (shisha) right inside. The establishment clearly has no ventilation system, and the room was filled with a thick, suffocating cloud of smoke. This is absolutely unacceptable, especially with a young child present. The Entertainment: A Bait-and-Switch The live music was a joke. They advertised a specific singer, but a completely different person performed. Their voice was terrible, and they sang depressing songs in a language we didn't even recognize. It felt more like attending a funeral than a birthday celebration. The "music" ruined the entire mood of the evening. The Value: Overpriced and Underwhelming This is a very expensive restaurant, but the quality of service and atmosphere doesn't come close to justifying the prices. You are paying premium rates for bottom-tier treatment. Summary: Everything was a disaster—from the non-existent service and toxic air to the depressing music and three-hour wait times. Save your money and your health. Do not go here
