Pete is Real, like The Velveteen Rabbit. Sometimes Life throws Lemons (not the good kind) and a dose of Real Human is just what the Doctor ordered. I recently moved here from the Monterey area and I’m getting to know my way around town. My friend turned me on to Pete’s smoke shop and I am extremely grateful that he exists in Hollister. I can find everything I need here from rolling tobacco to papers to vapes. And Petes spirit makes every day I come in better. Often times these days it’s the seemingly little things that keep me coming back to a business. Shopping here is no little thing for me… It contributes to my good life. Smoky Pete’s is now firmly on my radar. God bless you, Pete!

Thank God, I found Peet’s smoke shop I really like Pete he’s super cool. He has all the specialty items that I like. I have looked all over the place for a specific item, and he actually had it and it was great. I can’t tell you what it is because it hasn’t caught on yet, but when it does, it’s going to be sweet I do recommend the smoke shop.

This guy is always friendly. He always works hard to accommodate his customers needs. If he doesn't have what you're looking for he'll try hard to find something very similar that will hold you over and give you a very fair and reasonable price. He won't ever try to upsell you. He'll be fully transparent on if what you thinking of buying will meet your needs. I'd have to say though that my favorite thing about this store is no matter what, if his hours say he's open, then he for sure is open. Thank you Smokey Pete's for the fair prices, pleasant interactions, and honest business dealings. Updating this because Pete just went above and beyond for me to be able to vape. Pete is a great guy. He has a large selection. If he doesn't have what you're looking for he will figure out a way even if it loses him money. He works harder than any other smoke shop from Salinas to Gilroy and everywhere in between to help you. Before taking your business to some chain of smoke shops definitely give Pete a chance to meet your needs because he will work his butt off to help you and will be beyond fair with his prices. California made small business owners of smoke shops have an incredibly hard time to keep business flowing, but I've never seen any smoke shop owner work so hard to meet their customers needs like Pete does. Awesome store. Owner is Always very friendly and helpful. Great assortment of products I need and use so I have zero complaints about this store.I love coming here.

The best smoke shop in town. I've been to all of them, this shop is the most well rounded shop with all of it's various genres. It's only lacking 1 star for its sometimes lack of selection. I know this is due to little town syndrome. Pete still does a pretty damn good job listening to his customers and bringing in stuff just for them.
