Saw there was a corner store/bodega/deli concept opening up on westwood blvd, so had to check it out for lunch in a weekday. Alex greeted me with great customer service when i walked in. The deli menu was a bit large, but he noted he wanted to cut it down to focus on a smaller menu. I could tell he was passionate about the shop and his sandwiches. I went with the chipotle chicken sub medium, and he made it like a cheesteak with jalapaenos, chicken, cheese and i think a few mushrooms! it was super solid and filling for the price of $11 for a 12" sub. If he can get normal fries to be 3-4 bucks, can have a really filling meal deal in westwood. Overall, i would definitely return to try their other sandwiches, and i hope they're able to iron everything out and be successful!
