Insane lights, and disrespects local noise ordinances (we're talking 11pm weekend sawing metal in the alley)
Reviews
Put up more lights we can only see you up to a mile away.
UPDATE: Since posting this review, I’ve received strong support from other people in the neighborhood who share these concerns. So again, could the owner please explain what is actually going on? There is an official Los Angeles County Department of Public Health “NOTICE OF CLOSURE” posted on the business, yet I personally observed the store open and operating, generally during late-night hours from around 5:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. Instead of simply calling my review “false information,” please explain the situation clearly. If the business is legally authorized to operate despite that posted notice, then say so and explain why it is operating during those hours. People in the neighborhood are noticing what is happening and want a clear answer. ____________________________________________ Very disappointed with how this business is affecting our neighborhood. Please stop selling alcohol to people who are already clearly intoxicated. There is one individual who has repeatedly been causing problems around our building sleeping outside, creating disturbances, and making residents feel unsafe. I personally just saw him walking out of this store while staff appeared to be helping him walk toward the back alley. It has gotten to the point where I don’t feel comfortable having my wife take our son outside for a walk when this individual is around. Residents should not have to deal with this kind of behavior around their homes because of what is happening at a nearby business. Another major issue is the lighting. The storefront and exterior lights are extremely bright and shine directly toward our residential building and into my bedroom. Since this business operates until 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning, we are dealing with that light for most of the night, and it makes it very difficult to sleep. I seriously question whether this lighting was installed and approved in compliance with applicable city requirements. We never had these kinds of problems with the previous owners. Since the new ownership took over, there has been a noticeable increase in disturbances around the property. Something has clearly changed, and the neighbors are the ones dealing with it. We welcome local businesses and want businesses in the neighborhood to succeed, but there also needs to be respect for the people who live here. Please address the intoxicated customers, the disturbances around the property, and the excessive lighting shining into nearby homes. If these problems continue, I will keep documenting what is happening and report it to the appropriate city departments and Alcoholic Beverage Control. Please do better and be respectful of your neighbors.
