Food prices do not match the quality at all. My bar for indian food isn't that high but to call it indian food is a joke. Vegetable biryani didn't have vegetables. The yellow daal and biryani did not taste authentic. A lot of spices missing and tasted more like a soup than a curry. If you go for just hookah and a drink its a chill hangout spot. I dont know why management only has one person working the serving, hookah, and the bar on a Friday night. Poor woman was working all by herself.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT : Monterey's BEST hidden gem. Recently changed management and now under the name - ABHA Indian cuisine and Hookah Lounge. The ambience is GREAT with multiple fire pits dotted across the venue. Gentry is diverse and low key. We have been visiting this venue for years and never really went for the food - mostly for the ambience and drinks. Music is loungy and good. We ordered chicken wings and barbeque prawns (which were both outstanding). Service by Priya was over the top. The new folks went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The only place in the Monterey peninsula that serves hookah. All in all 5 stars. A MUST visit for a chill evening in Monetery with or without friends.

Delicious food. 100/10 stars. Super service. Butter chicken awesome. Paneer tikka masala amazing. Gluten informed and accommodating. And Dahlia says the Shirley Temple is A+. Also try the mozzarella naan.

Love the outdoor fire pits. Great atmosphere the guys working on 07/29 were all super nice. Great customer service. Drinks are awesome too.

I really hate to leave bad reviews, but the service was bad. Went there to smoke hookah and we were just horrible 40 bucks waste of money. I hope their food is good. We never got to try it, but we had a really bad experience.
