While most of the Bay Area lacks viable third spaces, Oakland does not. The community/regulars are the best. Everyone is super welcoming and kind, and the atmosphere is super chill. I made almost all my Oakland friends here! Depending on the time of day or day of the week, you might see some folks deep in work on their laptops, or people watching/debating a sportsgame being broadcast on the tv, ppl chilling before/after clubbing, or just vibing. Your Shisha may potentially take a minute to make, since they are made to order, and they only have one burner for coals. That said, it's good hookah and probably the cheapest in the bay area. Other than hookah, they do sell juices and tea, but you can bring in outside food and alcohol. In fact, some local food places nearby will run the food over.

Beware. They charge you even if you don't smoke. We waited about 25 min to be acknowledged by the people working. We were about to bounce when they finally came. The must was aight until the end. Then it got better. Then it took an additional 15 min to just pay only for them to tell us they were charging us for everyone, even the person who did not smoke. There are other places in Oakland that don't charge you for non smokers with better customer service. Go there. The restaurant downstairs was bomb though.

On the slow night of week Monday went there. They have small outside balcony sitting there for more than 25 minutes no one show up to take the order after that we went inside to order hookah with tea. Coming back sitting for other 15 minutes to get the hookah. Than wait other 20 minutes for the tea to arrive. NOT HAPPY WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. In the bathroom no toilet paper 🧻 the bathroom sink was small like plane. I was not expecting all the stuff on the slow day. Imagine if they’re busy.

Went to try hookah for first time. Had a fantastic experience. Owner (Amman?) was super sweet and so helpful. Fantastic vibe, had basketball game on and place was buzzing. Sat outside on patio and had a lovely time. Nice pot of tea, delicious hookah (orange mint flavor!). Will definitely be coming back.

My first time here and it was a really good experience very laid back i forgot to pay and when i came back the guy working here was so chill about it.
