Hands down the best hookah spot in North Park. The atmosphere hit different, chill lighting, good music, and just an overall good energy the whole night. Hookah was smooth from start to finish. Staff were on top of it always coming by to switch out the coals. Everyone was super friendly and made sure we were good the entire night. Definitely ask about their tea when you go, it’s through the roof. This is officially my new go to spot in North Park. If you love hookah you need to pull up here!

WOW. Where do I start, first of all I’ve never felt this comfortable and welcomed at a lounge here in San Diego ever in 15 years of going to lounges. The location is perfect, right off the 805 or the 15 in city heights, bordering north block 3 blocks west. The hookah is perfect, the setting is perfect, the staff are PERFECT, kind and attentive! Complimentary tea, one made with fresh herbs and spices. You have to check it out, they stay open late for large groups and are happy to host events and parties! Just perfect 🤩

I love everything about Afro lounge. From the first class service to in an instant becoming a part of the this genuine community all in one way of another finding yourself in a movement ( a positive one may I add). Uplifting and actually exercising " it takes a village genre... Don't u be the only one who cheats your own self.

Impeccable service, Dope Vibe, perfect spot to hang out with friends to unwind, work & chill. The founder Mekonnen is very personable an incredible business leader as well!
