I celebrated my birthday at Fanous Mediterranean Grill, and it was fantastic! The Persian dishes we ordered were delicious. The owners are so warm and welcoming, and the staff was incredibly nice. With music for dancing and a great space for cake, it was the perfect, fun celebration!

I’ve been to Fanous several times over the past few years, but this was my first visit since the new management, and it was such a great experience. Seeing Habib, one of the best bartenders in town, now managing the place made me genuinely excited. He makes absolutely incredible drinks, and his signature cocktails are always something I truly appreciate and enjoy. You can really tell the passion and creativity behind every drink. The food was fantastic, especially the Persian pizza, easily one of the best I’ve had. We also tried several different salads, all fresh and delicious. They’re very generous with their large teapots, and the hookah service is excellent, with frequent head changes that really show attention to quality. The space itself is great, indoor seating is chic and stylish, while the outdoor area is breezy and perfect for enjoying the warm Southern California December weather. Our server, Rojin, was wonderful, very kind, helpful, and always smiling, which made the experience even better. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended.

Went for lunch around 2pm on a Wednesday in December after a 9-mile trail run in Anaheim Hills. They had some construction work going on in the restaurant and there was no other customer, so I just ordered takeout. My beef shawarma was ready in 10 minutes. The quality and quantity of food were both very good, and there were plenty of fries on the side. They have very nice indoor as well as outdoor seating. Good value for the money. The shawarma came to around 18 bucks including tips and taxes.

Been going to Fanous since the owners changed. Their food is absolutely phenomenal. The atmosphere is great. They have live music and DJs on the weekends. The staff is super friendly and the hookah are always great. The owners are always there and are super friendly and nice. Very great environment. Highly recommended 👌

Absolutely incredible experience! This Mediterranean spot has completely transformed under the new ownership, and it shows in every detail. The new indoor and outdoor designs are stunning—modern, stylish, and still warm and inviting. Whether you’re dining inside or enjoying the fresh air outside, the atmosphere is top-tier. The food is authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned. The hookah selection is just as impressive—smooth, high-quality, and adds such a relaxing vibe to the whole experience. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and all servers were friendly, which made the night even more enjoyable. You can really tell the new owner has put a lot of care into elevating this place. If you’re looking for delicious Mediterranean food, a chic ambiance, a great hookah lounge experience, and an easy parking spot for your car, this place is a must-visit. Easily a 5-star spot—I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!
