This was, without question, one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I've had at Walmart. I walked into the store to buy one item, a loaf of bread. I was using self-checkout while speaking to my mother through my headset. The register required an associate, and my mother simply asked if there was anyone nearby. I answered her by saying there were three associates. That conversation was between me and my mother. An associate named Yvette decided to insert herself into a conversation that had absolutely nothing to do with her by saying, "Yeah, well we are all on break." Excuse me? I wasn't speaking to her. I wasn't complaining about her. I wasn't even acknowledging her. Instead of simply helping a customer, she chose to respond to a private conversation with unnecessary attitude. As a paying customer, I should never have to worry about an employee listening to my personal conversation and feeling entitled to jump into it. Rather than arguing with her, I stepped outside, finished my phone call, and then returned to speak with a manager because I believe people should be held accountable for how they treat customers. The first manager I spoke with apologized and appeared willing to have Yvette apologize directly. Instead, another manager, Jonny, approached me and said he didn't want Yvette to apologize because it could create a "further altercation." That response was honestly more concerning than the original incident. If management believes an employee cannot offer a simple, professional apology without creating another problem, then that speaks volumes about the environment being allowed at this store. A manager's responsibility is to resolve customer concerns, not avoid accountability because it might be uncomfortable. This entire situation started over a loaf of bread and could have been resolved with basic professionalism and common courtesy. Instead, I left feeling disrespected by both the associate and the way management chose to handle my complaint. I hope the Store Manager reviews this incident, including any available self-checkout camera footage, speaks with everyone involved, and takes whatever corrective action is appropriate. No customer should be treated this way for simply answering a question during a private phone conversation. Walmart can and should do better!

The battery in my wife’s car died so I came in late one night looking for a car battery. Johnny went above and beyond to help me out and was professional, kind, and unassuming. He saved us a lot of headache and trouble and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you, Johnny!!!!

Why?! Sons and I went to this location too just get out of the house and grab a game we could play as a family. My mom passed away and we had not felt like doing anything and finally wanted to try to do something to take out spirits up. I also purchased a bottle of wine. Every time I have purchases wine and I am doing my own scanning and bagging and doing the job of an employee, the actual employees standing around tell me to scan everything and then they will check my license. So, I do. My son's and I were having a nice time, talking and laughing and scanning away...then from behind me I hear a voice say, sarcastically, "Ohhhhh Wine!" I turn and see an employee hands behind back just standing not even 12 inches from me. I say, "oh you want to scan this now or when I finish?" She gets mad and starts to walk away with hands up like she gave up and said, "if you don't want me to do it now, I wont." I said, "you can do it whenever you want...doesnt matter to me." She walks back with an attitude saying that if I have my ID out right now she will do it. I didnt have it out as I was working ans scanning groceries, but stopped and got ot out. I thanked her and she huffed away. I just looked at my son's saying...what was that about?! Another employee saw and came to me apologizing and insisted I talk to the night lead or manager. I said, "it won't matter". She walked away apologizing and ended up getting the manger anyway. The lady that was rude, just glared at me while talking to the manager and when I left she kept staring at me, so I looked at her and said, "next time perhaps you will be nice to people" she popped off with "God bless you too" in a real hateful tone that was more of a curse to me than the words she actually spoke. It was not necessary...like why? Why did this trigger her? Why would you be upset? Why be hateful? Why????? Just to be mean? Walmart....do better. This was just not right. Believe me, I get having a bad day....I have tons lately but in ky darkest hour I have not treated people with unkindess. This girl has no business in customer service!

This has been the best Walmart that we have visited in Colorado, New Mexico. Shells are stocked and we were able to get everything on a shopping list. I had two people ask me if I needed help. Everybody was friendly and the prices were reasonable. Please keep up the good work and hopefully your others will take notice and approved our service.
