My visit to VIP in Connecticut was a great experience. Since the store carries adult products, they check your ID when you enter, which I appreciated because it helps ensure a comfortable and age-appropriate shopping environment. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a wide variety of mannequins dressed in different styles, and the store is filled with lots of unique and interesting items. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They immediately asked if there was anything they could help me with and were very attentive throughout my visit. I came in hoping to try on a bra, but unfortunately there were only two staff members working at the time, and the store became busy, so I wasn't able to use the fitting room. Even so, one of the staff members was kind enough to temporarily remove the security sensor so I could try on the band size to see how it fit. They also didn't have the exact bra I wanted in my size, but she took the time to look around the store and find similar options for me. Overall, the customer service was excellent, and I appreciated how helpful and accommodating everyone was.

I came to this location from MA, because I was told they have dancer heels. I was rudely rejected and told they have “nothing in my size” and to “just go to Hartford”. when I showed up to Hartford, the heel collection was even worse. I had to buy a new pair for an audition last night, because my prior ones broke and none could be shipped fast enough. They charged me 90$ for heels that peeled and shredded the very first time I zipped them up. I WANT A REFUND. They said “all sales are final” DANCERS STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Angela is amazing! She is professional, friendly, and truly attentive, making the entire experience feel special from start to finish. Her warm personality and genuine care stand out, and she consistently went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and happy with my experience. After explaining to Angela i wanted to spice things up with my man she was determined to have me looking and feeling good, her positive attitude and optimism gave me a major confident boost and I highly recommend asking for her if you want a top-tier experience.

Very weird experience. The reasonably priced things look old as hell, like the packaging is yellowing and obviously in the styles of decades ago. The more modern stuff is 4x the price that you can get anywhere else. Unless you're looking for something niche you're better off going to Spencer's or just buying online.

I have to admit based on the negativity via word of mouth and the reviews I was hesitant to even go. It was my first time in one of these stores. I asked for help from an employee who really did not care to bother with me, proving reviews to be true. I continued to look around, I think I made it pretty obvious that I was nervous and Angela greeted me. What a difference!! She put me at ease, answered all my questions and she was so understanding that eventually I was so comfortable being there that it felt like I was talking to a friend I’ve known forever. She made this experience something I will never forget. If it wasn’t for her would more than likely never come back. Although items may have been pricey, I will definitely be coming back with my girlfriends!
