They're honestly always out of everything hahaha. I've been coming here for 3+ years and have ultimately decided paying more for better quality weed at a "dispensary" is better. The medical card is free, and while Andy and others are super nice, it doesn't make up for the fact they're out of everything 23/6. You may get lucky and get some poorly rolled joints for cheap, but if you can, get the med card and just find a spot near your house; the new pen I got from a downtown DC Spot was great and only $20 more than Smoke Island PLUS my med card was free. I'd recommend other spots unless you're 18-20, or strapped on cash. Editing to add the employees are only nice if they think you’re tipping or aren’t in a mood that day.

My favorite smoke shop by far. The staff is always super helpful. Especially Tyler, he is always there with a friendly energy and just a really chill person and always super helpful and accommodating. They also have incredible deals and fair prices. Highly recommend!

I only went there for the bud which was 100% huff. It’s looks like weed and smells like weed but like u smokin a cigarette but they don’t sell 8ths anymore?

I've been a loyal customersince they've opened. As far as I'm concerned, Tyler keeps this place alive. He's warm, hospitable, professional, knowledgeable, and kind. The competition is over, yeah. But there really isn't one -- give that man a bonus.
