Whatever you do, don’t come here for food on a Saturday night. I’ve been to this restaurant twice before and had great experiences, which is why this visit was so disappointing. I originally wanted jerk chicken with rice and peas and steamed vegetables, but the waitress told me they were out of jerk chicken, which I thought was odd. Instead, I ordered the curry shrimp with white rice. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. The white rice tasted like it was several days old, and the curry shrimp had almost no flavor. It wasn’t seasoned at all it just tasted like plain curry with no spice or depth. For the prices they charge, I expected much better. The atmosphere has also changed. It feels more like a nightclub than a restaurant now. The music was great (10/10). I’ve ordered from here on Uber Eats before and even dined in about a year ago, and both experiences were much better. Maybe Saturdays have a different kitchen or staff, but based on this visit, I wouldn’t recommend coming on a Saturday night. If you’re curious, try another day instead.

So. I visited the first time when they first opened and the food was excellent and don’t ask about the atmosphere worthy to keep going back. I’m a traveler, love food and good vibes. Happen to be in Florida and drove over an hour, couldn’t wait to go back. I wondered on a Saturday night why the place was not crowded, didn’t give it a second thought, was just excited to be back. What a disappointment. My favorite oxtail dish was a few pieces of bones and lot a gravy. The rice and peas was flavorless and the salad was tossed in the plate no dressing (you can see for yourself from the photo). Then they had the audacity to add 18% service charge and they still expected a tip. I asked for a to go box and left the food outside hoping that a hungry homeless would see it and take it. I love food and don’t mind paying anything for a nice plate but this hurt my guts and my wallet. Definitely would not be going back. I start eating with my eyes and from the moment the food hit the table I was ready to walk out. Check $202 . The first 3 fotos from last night. The last four my first November 2024. Look at the difference 😒

Jamaican food made bougie. This restaurant is a huge location with nice furniture, big bar, patio Dj booth a vibes. I saw hookah in the garden area and its mention that the brunch is great. I came in for the first time on a week evening for a late dinner. When we sat we noticed that the menu was small and had no prices. Yikes! Anywho we decided to stay. For drinks we had the lychee dragonfruit margarita 10/10 and Hennessy rum punch 10/10 but they took forever to arrive to the table. For starters we had the lobster fritters which I was imagining something completely different. It was not terrible but I didn't enjoy it. For dinner I had the lobster and shrimp Alfredo pasta which was so flavorful. We also had the oxtail with white rice and plantain which the oxtail was tender and flavorful. Overall the service was a bit slow but the food was fresh and came hot to the table. For was also very good. However it is overpriced for some people as our bill was about $200

Our first time at Kekoon for Ladies Night on Thursday and we had an amazing time! 💃🏽✨ The drinks were okay, the appetizers were on point 🔥, and the hookah was strong—but definitely needed 😉. The vibe was a whole 💯! We truly had such a great time and will definitely be back with another group. Thank you so much for having us—we had the best time! #LadiesNight #GoodTimes #FoodieFinds #GirlsNightOut #ThursdayTurnUp

Expectations for this restaurants were high. They were highly touted as “the spot”. Nevertheless they did not disappoint. The vibes were cool and inviting. The bartender (ginger) was very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, a bit on the pricey end but the ambiance made it worth it. I will definitely be back
