SoulEdge: Miami Vice.. Previously I made reservations, but I couldn't make it. Vela is located in the heart of Downtown Miami. I arrived in the afternoon. Greeted well by staff. I ate upstairs, due to I was tired from work. Order a Vela Burger with avocado, Chocolate Lava Cake with ice cream, & Grapefruit juice. Love the inside settings of the hotel. Kudos to David M, Keisha, and Guirlyne Perpignand for excellent service. This visit dedicated to my then German American ex girlfriend, whom impacted me in a positive way. Vela opened in Oct 2022, yes nobody bothered to leave a review until almost Sep 2023? What is wrong with people :) This is a great place to dine in! The decor is chill and modern, there are booths and an upstairs lounge, service was prompt, and the Miami Spice menu was excellent at $30. Portions were large enough to warrant take-home boxes. You enter through Yotel's door, and Vela is right there. Go!

SoulEdge: Bite size... I dine there before for lunch. I decided to follow-up with breakfast. Ordered Steak & Eggs, and mocha. There was a mix up on how I ordered the eggs. I remember saying overeasy. No biggie there, but having been served. It felt like small size portions on the steak & potatoes. I had dine nearby. And ordered the same thing at another place by Chopin Plaza (see my other reviews & compare the pictures) and I don't know what to say. Charles at the bar is so fun and keeps the vibe up. The music is chill and gives a great uplifting atmosphere
