I went here yesterday and the vibe was cool. The DJ was good and the hookah and drinks are ok. I didn’t like the shady stuff from the server. When I went to pay yesterday the server quickly showed the price. I normally always ask for itemize showing everything before I pay. Against my better judgement I didn’t. So the total was shown and then next it asked for tip. I gave 18% not knowing they already included 20% gratuity. Something didn’t sit right so I asked for a printed receipt. She gave me a printed receipt and I realized they already charged two charges of 10% on the total. I would never go here again because I don’t like shady.

So I took my man to a multitude of places for an early Father’s Day celebration and we came to Geo’s. I’ll be honest the aesthetic and vibe is there. We enjoyed ourselves up until one of the owners made us feel indifferent and belittled us. I have videos of the people I’m about to refer to but I won’t post them. I’ll only speak of my experience. I’ll explain what the owner looks like just in case there is more than one owner. The owner I’m speaking of was wearing a bun in his hair and of a darker complexion. He has a decent grade of hair, very curly. One of the guest in which I assume was one of his friends came in smoking so my fiance assumed it was okay to smoke. Before my fiance began to smoke I asked our waitress was it okay and she went back to ask the manager but he said no. The waitress mentioned “well he’s smoking” referring to the friend so I said “well if somebody says something I’ll have him put it out” because a rule is a rule. If you don’t allow smoking then that goes for everybody but I was wrong. The owner walked out and told somebody to turn on the vent to fade out the smoking for his friend then came to our table and said “big man ain’t no smoking in here tonight.” Respectfully, my fiance put it out. I peeped the scene the entire time and watched his Friend smoke the entire time. He even was rolling more to smoke. I asked the waitress if we needed to buy a pass to smoke and she said “they’re the owners and the guy that’s smoking plays for the Ravens.” I said I don’t care who he play for. Smoking is smoking. A rule should apply to everyone. Smoking was not the issue. The issue is the discrimination based off status or reputation. You supposed to shake the janitor hand just like you shake the hands of the CEO. I felt belittled. I almost got up and didn’t pay but I didn’t because that would have fell on the waitress that was good to us but to the ponytail wearing manager, STOP RIDING ANOTHER MANS HORSE.

Geo's Lounge has to be under new management. The lounge seems more structured and the staff is more engaging . I booked a table online for my birthday and the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the security staff, GM, and bartenders... the entire night was a VIBE. I ordered a custom vegan, gluten-free pizza. The ingredients are fresh and the sauce is made with love however the true superstar is their mixologist AJ. He prepares the best drink experience every time I stop by. I love that I can trust him enough to "just make me something " and he never disappoints! Whenever you're in the area...be sure to ask AJ for a Grand Lemon Drop or Sidecar!

Great service and people. Top notch full service bar and Lounge. No bottom shelf drinks which is 👍. Local is great for social events, gatherings, and party events. Food is available. Parking right around the block. Centrally located by other well established restaurants and known nights spots in Ybor City.

So glad I found this gem in Historic Ybor City. I love the ambiance, the MATURE crowd environment and most of all the customer service, which I have to add Aira is the best as she always greets us with a beautiful smile and accommodates all of our needs. I have been here 3 times, first time for Frankie Negron concert which was spectacular. Millie Puentes was also performing that night. We were greeted with a glass a champagne and a charcuterie plate. Wow that was amazing service and a great experience. Then I decided to celebrate my 40th Barbie birthday at Geo's. I made reservations on open table and they accommodated my group (about 20 of us) the music was great, hookah and drink prices were reasonable & the dj was playing all the right music for our age group. Everything was perfect!! I normally don't write reviews, but I had to leave one for this place since it has been beyond my expectations.
