I spent $30 on a glass piece in the store today. It was just wrapped in a plastic bag with zero bubble wrap by the time I had gotten home my glass had already broken in my bag. Why is it that you buy glass from a store and they don’t wrap it in bubble wrap ready for it to break

I usually come to this smoke shop for my needs they have some great prices on vapes. Well I decided to buy a new torch which was around $19 a lot more than a regular lighter. I tried it out when I got to the car and it already seemed a little finicky but I figured it wasn’t all the way full of butane and so I went home and filled it. I had to refill it every time I tried to use it and wasted a ton of butane. Because I am a regular there and the lady who sold it to me would agree to that I assumed I would have no problem exchanging it for another torch exactly like it as it was pretty evident it was a dud! I went back first thing in the morning i told her I wanted to purchase two of the discounted vapes that I didn’t get the day before, and while she was grabbing them I asked her if she would exchange the malfunctioning torch I bought with a working one- she pointed to a small handwritten sign that said “no returns all sales final-& said- ‘I just work here’” & would not even acknowledge it was a bad lighter! She said she was not the owner- but I have never seen anyone else work there but her. I am really disappointed because I was a loyal customer. And now I won’t be coming back and I didn’t buy the vapes that I wanted. I think this is a lose/lose and I definitely was wrong in thinking they cared in anyway about me being a loyal customer. *there is a ton of smokes shops
