The service is amazing here, it has such gorgeous views of the golf course with huge windows and the food is unbelievable. I had tried my husband‘s hand cut french fries and they were delicious-I do love fresh cut fries! He got the BLT and really enjoyed it. And my mom got garlic sautéed green beans with her snapper with mashed potatoes-wow is that delicious. Highly recommend! Oh-and the bartender, Gina is awesome-try the mojito! These owners have really stepped this place up a bunch of notches-you just have to check out this fantastic restaurant in Kingwood Golf Resort! Even if you tried it before, you need to come again and see the new menu!

Me and my husband went away for an anniversary weekend and stumbled across this restaurant. I don’t know where to start because the experience as a whole was a 10-10. From the moment you walk into the building, you are met with greetings and quickly seated. The waitress we had was absolutely amazing and on top of her game with refills or whatever else we needed. The customer service from the staff and the owners were amazing. They have such great hospitality and you can tell that everyone who was working truly enjoyed and loved their job. Their love for what they do truly poured into the food and drinks. I took some pictures of the food and drinks and I’ll share them below. I honestly thought I took more pictures than what I did, but when I tell you the service and hospitality was amazing-I barely touched my phone. Everything on the menu and drink selection is priced great and once you try it, you’ll definitely be going back for more. In fact, it was the only place we ate at during our trip! I had the pleasure of meeting the owners and speaking to them for a while, and to tell you how amazing they truly are would be an understatement. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is the area, or who is just passing through. They will fill your stomachs and hearts up! 10/10!!!
David greeted and seated and waited on us. He was very helpful in selecting drinks and explaining the menu options. We started with drinks my wife had a margarita that was nice. I had a glass of red wine. Salads were good. Good dressing. She got the steak cutlets and I got the ny strip.y steak was a little thin cut but was tasty and prepared well. Hers was nice. We had sides of mash potatoes and the broccoli was very good. We skipped dessert but overall we had fun with David who even told a dad joke. It was valentine’s dinner for us so David made it a special night and took photos of us too.
Our group of five dined in the Saturday after Thanksgiving and unfortunately had an all-around 1 star experience that we feel management need be made aware of. I don't leave a poor review in malice but in hopes that ownership/management can step in and save this beautiful space from its reputation before it's too late. Upon arrival we were met with a hostess wearing sweatpants and a completely empty and dead quiet restaurant, albeit with lovely golf course views and Christmas decor. We checked the menu online before going and were excited, only to find 75% of it wasn't actually available. A wine/cocktails menu wasn't provided and when we asked after it, our hostess/server told us there wasn't one, and if we wanted to order drinks we'd have to walk to the bar to order because they "didn't know anything about that." We picked up our waters and moved to sit at the bar instead, since no one else was in the restaurant. We ordered a sav blanc, a vodka martini with a twist, and a dirty gin martini -- they had neither limes nor olives and yelled over our heads to check with the kitchen to no avail.. we swapped drinks to compensate for mistakes. Some of our food came out 15 mins late.. obviously forgotten and then rushed incorrectly. The $28.00 steak was abysmal, the grilled cheese did not have melted cheese, and the french fries were greasy and somehow didn't have any potato in them? When we asked for our bill they were confused about who ordered what for the third time. We won't go back, but agree that it's a cute venue that could do very well under different circumstances. Someone save this place!
I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but my experience at Embers Vine was awful from start to finish. When we arrived, the place was practically empty — which should’ve been a warning sign. Despite that, service was still slow and inattentive. When the food finally came out, it was honestly the worst I’ve ever had. Everything tasted off, poorly cooked, and completely lacked flavor. For how expensive the menu is, the quality was unacceptable. Even the presentation looked rushed and unappetizing. The restaurant itself didn’t have much atmosphere either — just quiet, awkward, and not well taken care of. It felt like they’ve given up on trying. Overall, Embers Vine was a huge disappointment. Between the empty dining room, terrible food, and poor service, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
