Chill spot- I liked it because we were looking for 4 specific things: place to sit, good DJ, free parking and drinks. This covered it all. You have to pay for your drinks before they bring them out. I get it, it’s a party spot. It was fun watching people on the mechanical bull. I didn’t eat here. The hookah was good. The bathroom was not up to standard, no tissue and no paper towels, someone should check it periodically. Overall, I would go back again just to chill.

They wanted me to pay 10$ to order to go food. I ordered online and waited in my car for free. The side dishes was so skimpy. This is both sides lol. It’s definitely not worth 7.70.

We are from out of town so we wanted to see how Atlanta party. We came upon the UBar from reviews and still wanted to try for our selves. We got there no greeter at the door (side note it is a Sunday), so this could factor in not having a lot of people in the bar. Got there about 11:50 pm, ask do we need to seat ourselves, waitress said sit wherever. It was about 25 people in there and I asked after 10 minutes can we get served, waitress said she'll be over never came, another 10 minutes trying to give them the benefit of a doubt nothing still. Then another waitress came and was helping another table mind you that just walked in and I asked can we get some help, she says oh no one came to help y'all we was like NO. So she continued to help the other table for another 5 minutes and then came to our table. Took our order now it's about 12:10 we ordered 2 drinks and some fried green tomatoes, she comes back and say no tomatoes, ok. Can we order a hookah, she said let me see if they still selling/doing them. When she finally came with our drinks she tells us they not doing hookah anymore. I don't know this why it was like this again maybe because it was Sunday but this by far my worst experience in Atlanta and for it to be my first time, I was upset. Not sure I will return to this particular bar when visiting again but you all have to do better to be attentive to your guest and then to add a 18% automatic gratuity was even worse.

U Bar has treated me nothing but nice. Kamye and Lakayla are very attentive, and the manager Carl made sure my experience was amazing. The food is so good with so much flavor. I drive all the way from Cumming just to come here, have a drink, and enjoy a good time.its a must come place for must out on good food and a good time.

A potential learning experience for staff: It's seat yourself, or at least was when we (4) went. Took awhile for our server to come and great. Placed our drink order with our food order; received 2 of 3 drinks after 15 minutes.. They were weak. Waited 20 minutes for the 3rd drink, then was told our food order did not get put in and would be another 15-20 minute wait. The comp was 3 free shots and a 2nd drink of the one that was late. Ok, an attempt to make it right. I noticed our server was attentive to other tables. I tried to wave her over 3 times for her to mouth "I know" and then walk in the opposite direction. She had no idea what I/We were needing. Other staff attended to us eventually and quickly. Only at the end was she at our table. Watching other patrons come in after and have their orders dropped timely was a bit aggravating.
