Update: Second Visit After having such a great first experience, we decided to come back to watch the Knicks game. The restaurant was much busier this time, which was great to see. We sat down, and Morgan, the bartender, explained the drink specials when I asked. She told me the house tequila margaritas were $8, so I ordered one. We later moved to another table to be more comfortable and get a better view of the game. Our server, a Spanish young lady, greeted us warmly, but as the evening went on, her service became less attentive. I ordered the Sivas Burger, sweet potato fries, and another round of margaritas. Unfortunately, the burger lacked flavor, the fries were soggy, and our margaritas sat at the bar for quite a while before being delivered. By the time we received them, they were watered down. Since our server was difficult to find, we went directly to the bar and spoke with Morgan. Rather than apologizing, the interaction made us feel as though we had done something wrong. The bigger issue came when we received the bill. Our server told us the margaritas were actually $14 each but that she was giving us a "discount" and charging $10. We explained that we had specifically ordered the $8 house margaritas that were advertised as the special. At that point, Morgan came over and insisted we had requested Teremana tequila, which was simply not true. I don't even drink that brand. A manager eventually stepped in and resolved the issue immediately, which I appreciated. However, I felt the situation should never have escalated to management. A simple conversation could have cleared everything up. What bothered me most was that it felt like a bait-and-switch situation. Interestingly, another couple seated near us said they had experienced something similar before. We also overheard other guests warning people against ordering the wings and steaks because of poor experiences. To be clear, this wasn't about the money. I have no problem paying for what I order. The issue was being told one price and then being charged another. I was also surprised to see gratuity added automatically when our bill wasn't even over $100. On a positive note, I spoke with one of the bar managers, an older Black lady, and she was incredibly professional, kind, and understanding. She encouraged us to give the restaurant another chance. I also want to recognize Mariah, who was our server during our first visit. She was fantastic and genuinely seemed upset that we had such a negative experience this time. She encouraged me to come back and ask for her. While our first visit made us excited to return, this second visit left us disappointed enough that we decided to spend the rest of our evening elsewhere. I still appreciate the managers who stepped in to help, but consistency in service and pricing is something that needs attention.

Simple, clean, delicious. This place is a refreshing reminder that going back to the basics and being simple can be delicious! The food here is nothing fancy but in a really good way! I loved every minute of being here. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The music is loud and the hookah is flowing; know what you want before you come here but you will have a great time if this is your thing!

Perfect place to celebrate a colleague obtaining her Master’s!!!! Came on a Sunday for Brunch. We had a large group so we took up most of the patio. Lovely decor, great vibes, food was so good and the DJ kept us dancing! They have a $65 special for brunch, unlimited Hookah, Mimosas and you get a nice plate with a variety of food! Added a photo showing the food! I split this plate with my friend😍 Definitely would return to see what the night life is like!!!

Went here for some late evening memorial day weekend fun. Janay was the best server I’ve ever had. Very sweet and attentive. Service was quick, restroom where clean and drinks were well mixed. DJ was also on point music was loud but not ridiculous. I'll definitely be returning.

From the moment we arrived, she provided exceptional customer service, making us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the evening. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect without ever making us feel rushed. We were celebrating my brother’s birthday, and Che went above and beyond to make it a truly remarkable night. Her positive attitude and genuine care turned a great dinner into a memorable celebration. It’s employees like her who keep people coming back. Thank you, Che, for making such a special occasion even more unforgettable! Highly recommend asking for her if you visit Sivas. ⭐
