I had an amazing time at one of their recent events where the owner truly rolled out the red carpet with dinner, a featured cigar brand, and giveaways. This is just one of the many great experiences I’ve enjoyed there. Churchill Fine Cigars is known for its incredible cigar selection and outstanding events. Owner Shafi Hai has been in the cigar industry for over 30 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the cigar community. They carry a large variety of premium cigars, and some of my personal favorites are the Davidoff Winston Churchill The Late Hour, the Plasencia Alma Fuerte Black, and other selections from Plasencia. If you’re looking for a great place to relax and enjoy a premium smoke, this is definitely the place to be. — Robin Blue, founder of BlueSmokeATL

Here’s a polished review: Churchill Cigars is simply the best cigar lounge around. The prices are great, the staff is amazing, and the customer service is always outstanding. Every time I stop in, they make me feel like family and consistently give me excellent discounts on my cigars. The selection is top-notch, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the experience is second to none. This place deserves far more than 5 stars. If you’re a cigar enthusiast looking for quality, value, and exceptional service, Churchill Cigars is the place to go. **Highly recommended!**★★★★★+
Grear selection and good prices. The Sales Associate, Cricket is the best. She's very helpful and knowledgeable. The Owner, Shafi is fantastic guy.
Let me start by saying that when I first stumbled upon Churchill, I was genuinely pleased with the cigar selection and the great prices. Those are the two things this shop does very well. Unfortunately, after coming back several times, I started noticing something that made me increasingly uncomfortable. I tried to overlook it at first, but eventually it became impossible to ignore. What you will experience here is not the best customer experience beyond the prices and selection. I don't believe anyone wants to be babysat while making their cigar selections. Having someone stand only a couple of feet away, constantly watching you, hovering over you, and making you feel like you're being monitored instead of trusted completely takes away from the experience. Choosing a cigar should be relaxing, not uncomfortable. What made it even worse was the feeling that you weren't supposed to go near the cigars yourself. Even after becoming a regular customer, an employee would often grab the cigar instead of allowing me to reach for it. While some may interpret that as customer service, that's not how it came across. Good customer service makes a customer feel welcome, not controlled. There were also small interactions that reinforced that feeling. Instead of handing the cigar directly to me after I purchased it, it would simply be placed on the counter. Individually these things may seem minor, but together they create an atmosphere that says, "I don't really want you here, but I need your business." That is not a welcoming environment. Another issue is something every experienced cigar smoker understands. Most cigar shops do not accept returns on cigars. Because of that, customers should be allowed to gently feel the cigar before purchasing it—not to squeeze or damage it, but to check the body and firmness. There is a significant difference between crushing a cigar and lightly feeling it to determine whether it is excessively hard or overly soft. If a cigar is too hard, it may not draw properly, making it feel like you're trying to pull smoke through an inhaler. Since customers generally cannot return cigars after purchase, the only protection they have is being able to inspect them beforehand. That's simply part of buying premium cigars. Integrity in this business means making every effort to provide quality products. Yes, every now and then a bad cigar can happen. But most customers don't go back asking a cigar shop to replace every bad cigar they encounter. We accept that reality. That's exactly why being able to inspect the cigar before purchasing it is so important. What ultimately disappointed me most wasn't the selection or the products—it was the experience. The body language, the constant hovering, and even the verbal interactions made me feel as though I was viewed with suspicion instead of appreciation. No paying customer should leave feeling accused or unwelcome. Because of that, I will no longer support this business, nor would I recommend it to others., especially and most notably people who are black. There are other cigar shops in the area that understand customer service, treat customers with respect, and recognize that they are not the only business people can choose to support.
Look no further for your signature Cigar Shop in Atlanta. Between the knowledge experience and know how of Jay, Gus, and of course, Al you cannot find a wider selection of cigars experiences and supplies. I’ve been smoking cigars for three months and feel that the shop has widened my experience greatly. Over on Roswell Road stop on by.
