The man who welcomed me didn’t let me in the humidor. When I wanted to pay he asked me to sign electronically a screen where the amount do not appear, which I had never done before. When I asked him to make the amount appear he told me in an authoritative way: « Do you want it or not? » I finally decided to leave he said to me: « Go out now, you are ridiculous. » When I came back home I surprisingly saw the sum had been debited on my Amex account whereas I had resigned buying anything, left the cigar in the shop and had never signed anything. Disgusting experience.

New to cigar smoking, asked Owner for recommendations. Came home with 5 cigars, all were dried out and 2 fell apart when I opened them. Won’t be back, waste of 80$. Will spend my money elsewhere…
Following my prior review, the owner called me to apologize and asked for an opportunity to make amends. The fact that he called showed me that he does care about his business and his customers. I went to his store and found an excellent supply of extremely nice and hard to find cigars. Definitely will return.
Excellent selection of smokes, fairly laid back atmosphere. However, the owner can be rather terse, some would say rude. But if you can get past that you will find the cigar you want at a fair price. The store is on the small side and the humidor takes up the bulk of the store's space. There's a small sitting area with a television. And, sometimes boxes clutter the area. It's one of two decent cigar shops on Oahu, so give it a shot.
I’m on a two-week vacation here in Hawaii, and I decided to check out some local cigar shops. I didn’t read the reviews beforehand — my mistake — so if you’re reading this right now, do yourself a favor and don’t repeat my error. The moment I walked in, the owner greeted me with an attitude like I was interrupting his day. No smile, no aloha spirit, nothing. Just straight rude energy. He immediately started pushing Rare Pinks on me, and when I said I wasn’t interested, he acted annoyed — like he was doing me a favor by talking to me. I asked if he had any Opus or exclusive Fuente releases. He pulled out a box of God’s Whisper, which normally I’d be excited about. But when I asked if he had anything else, he gave me this disrespectful, eye-rolling, “What else do you want?” vibe — like asking a basic question was somehow a problem. Then it got worse. He opened a silver metal locker — not a humidor, not climate controlled, literally just a metal cabinet — and pulled the cigars out of there. No humidifier. No humidity packs. No airflow. Nothing. I asked him how long they’d been in there, and he snapped out “Eight years” like I was supposed to be impressed. Eight years… sitting dry as dust in a metal box. That’s not “aging” — that’s neglect. At that point I backed off the deal completely. But while browsing, I spotted Brick House cigars in the main humidor FULL of beetle holes. And anyone who knows cigars knows: once there are beetles in one box, the entire humidor is compromised. That’s how you ruin a whole shop’s inventory AND your customers’ humidors at home. But the absolute worst part? This owner’s attitude is the most unprofessional I’ve ever experienced in a cigar shop — anywhere in the world. • He talks down to customers. • He gets irritated when you ask normal questions. • He acts like you’re wasting his time even when you’re ready to spend real money. • He has zero hospitality and even less respect. • Every sentence came with an attitude like he was doing me a personal favor just by breathing near me. At one point it felt like he was annoyed I even walked in. If you’re running a shop on an island filled with tourists and cigar lovers, maybe try not treating customers like they’re a burden. Bottom line: This place is a perfect storm of bad storage, possible cigar beetles, and an owner with an attitude so nasty he could ruin a five-star experience anywhere. There are far better cigar shops in Hawaii — ones that actually respect their customers and store cigars properly.
