Probably the only place on Earth that has a $10 minimum on cards BEFORE TAX. So if you want something that costs $9.99 they won't let you pay card and they also won't let you pay with a $10 bill because it won't cover the tax. Blocking both methods of paying for something is a surefire way to lose sales and customers.
