My mom used to shop here when she lived in Rockford Illinois. She moved back to Chicago after 10 years. We came to visit my niece. Before we left she wanted to stop by the tobacco shop. They still remembered her after all these years. Her favorite item is no longer in stock so she purchased something else. Nice service.

Looks like they're not carrying Big Philly cigars anymore and the manager is not very nice at all. Plus they charge a fee for using a credit card for under a $10 purchase which is illegal according to credit card company agreements. And just to warn they won't tell you they're charging the fee so you can get another item. Last few times I've been there it really seems like they're hurting for money and becoming less and less friendly. I think Carlos is the manager name and he has never been nice to me even though I've bought a lot of things there and I've seen him being nice to other people so I don't know what his problem is. I'm done going to this dump. I would recommend the peace store on 20th Street for all your smoking needs as they are very friendly and appreciate my business.
