I am writing to report a very disappointing experience I had with one of your sales clerks yesterday, Sunday, June 7th, at approximately 1:30 PM. My husband and I visited the store and approached the clerk for assistance with a product. He blatantly ignored our questions. When we continued browsing and selected items, he became visibly impatient. He threw our items onto the counter, muttered “whatever,” and immediately walked away to assist another customer, with whom he was noticeably more pleasant and attentive. To make matters worse, he then attempted to overcharge us for the purchase and argued with my husband about the price. This is the second time we have had problems with this same employee. On both occasions, we were polite, patient, and even apologized if we felt we were inconveniencing him. We have done nothing to warrant this kind of rude and unprofessional treatment. This experience left us feeling disrespected and unwelcome in your store. We have been loyal customers and expect a higher standard of service. I would appreciate it if you would: Investigate this incident and speak with the employee involved. Provide training or coaching on customer service standards. Let me know what steps will be taken to prevent this from happening again.
