Horrible customer service, dishonest staff, overpriced. The owner lady picks and chooses who she charges tax on cash purchases, it’s absolutely disgusting. I don’t get charged tax but a few of my buddies do. If you use credit/debit they add a fee. Everything is about 20% more expensive than neighboring vape stores which also don’t sell expired vapes and kratom. They are so unfriendly as well, how this place stays in business is beyond me.

READ WHOLE THING The lady who works there offers a “no tax discount” on all products if you pay cash, hence why there’s an ATM in there. One day I walk in to buy product with cash (I brought the exact amount), but she charged me insane tax. I questioned her and she said “oh it’s the tariffs”. I was so confused because my fiancé was not charged tax the same day and the same product… so I’m getting out my change out and SHE STARTS LAUGHING AT ME. So disrespectful, I always avoid this place, but when every other place is closed I’ll always look in the check if she’s working, and if she is I leave right away. Never worth it. Don’t go here. They pick and choose who they like but rip EVERYONE off.

UPDATE! Was told they price match by employee , showed employee receipt and was told "NO PROBLEM" went in today to get said item with another more recent receipt from another vape store and the very same employee said they can't match the price. So, I was lied to multiple times - stay away from this place they are not honest and super overpriced. This place has everything a smoke shop should, huge selection of everything smoke related along with big selection of ecigs, flower, vape pens, kratom, edibles and a nice selection of water pipes + rigs etc. Apart from the great selection of gear this place is pricing everything as if from a different planet! There is a reason why they don't want you using your phone in store - quick Google check of any item they're selling clearly shows how badly this store is ripping off it's loyal customers. As an example, there is a particular item I buy - i purchase this same item multiple times during the week from random locations all around Illinois, it's priced between $19.99 - $29.99 but at Monstor Smoke they want $49.99!!!! A quick look at similar products and it's the same scam - go over a town or two and save yourself a ton of money. I'm not too familiar with the town this shop is located in but it would lead me to believe crime is rampant in the area as everything and I mean everything in this store is locked away behind glass. If I want to check the ingredients of an edible I can't. Floor to ceiling displays that are all locked, you literally can not check any item out because its behind glass and I mean everything is behind this display glass - I've never seen a smoke shop like this in my 40 years , I've traveled around the world and I lived in Los Angeles for 12 years ... Thought I've seen it all until this gem. Stay away. Two stars for selection , everything else about this store is negative

Incredible selection and impeccable service. The young man who helped me this evening was not only attentive, but exceedingly knowledgeable about all things for sale. He took the time to allow me to see and feel all of what caught my eye, and even took extra time to see to a return due to my error. Fantastic visit, I do not live near this store, but will make the trip.

Got 2 vapes and both worked for first hit inside store. Got into car and both were completely burnt/broken and tasted like absolute trash.
