I Had a wonderful experience at Le Beirut Hookah Lounge. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hookah was excellent, smooth, fresh, and lasted a long time without losing flavor. The atmosphere was relaxing, clean, and perfect for spending time with friends. You can tell they take pride in providing a great customer experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality hookah and exceptional service. I’ll definitely be coming back

Enjoyed my time at Le Beirut. I did not have high expectations given the lower reviews but I was pleasantly surprised with the service and atmosphere. There was a mandatory 10$ cover charge because that they had a singer that night which is not high but at the same time inconvenient for people who just want to chill. The menu did not have food options which is surprising for a large place like Le Beirut, but if you ask they do offer some food options not put on the menu. We were allowed to bring food from outside which was much appreciated.
I would love to give Le Beirut five stars and honestly, if I wouldn’t have ended off my experience on Saturday the way I did 5 minutes before walking out I would have but at this point I cannot. I left feeling confused, prohibited and alienated. Grateful for the overall experience because the music was lively (Sam and Jamil are talented performers), the hookah was good, the guests seemed to really enjoy singing along and dancing, I appreciated Michele, Naser, Omar especially for the way they attended to us. I loved the vibe overall. I even left a DJ event/party an hour way just to drive out here and attend the live music at le Beirut that many told me I had to experience, so I wanted to make the drive because of how welcoming the place and its people seemed. It was ultimately my decision to leave another event to come here, I just wish I wouldn’t been reprimanded as I was on my way out. Long story short, when we walked out at closing time I was told by a worker who was told by the owner to tell me and my sister not to talk to other people or guest there and at other tables. We walked out sad and confused. I tried to ask for clarification and if he meant what he said but he just kept repeating the same. I wish I could’ve spoken with the owner directly to understand better. I want to think it was for my protection since men approached us at the lounge, and sat with us to talk more on their way out and one of them ended up putting their arm around my shoulder. I wasn’t offended but I also I didn’t entertain the action, we just wanted to finish our tea that was brought out to us because it was almost 2am, the time they close, so we stayed to finish and because we were having a great time. but in the end it seemed more like we were the one’s getting in trouble. I hope the men in the situation were also told something being as they were the ones that approached and began the convo. Again something I’d figure to be normal especially for a social lounge experience, where I know people are used to making and seeing friends but it was really an odd request. I loved everything about the culture and hospitality here, but for me and my sister to be told “what you did isn’t allowed, for next time just make sure you don’t talk to people at other tables” I had a lot of trouble understanding where they were coming from. If I’m going to be restricted like that again, I don’t think I’d return. Which is unfortunate because the music, the atmosphere and the workers were all really great to me. Until we were on our way out… I understand if we’re not welcomed anymore, but if the owner or if anyone could give me clarity on the situation, I’d love to listen. I tried to inquire more on our way out, but I just kept getting the same response. I travel a lot and I love to appreciate different cultures whenever I can, but this was the first time I left somewhere confused like this. Even more so as a Latina who just wanted to experience and share this place to give it more exposure and say good things. I do wish I could speak Arabic to gain a better understanding of what happened but at the same time I felt like there was no time to explain and like I was just expected to listen to a rule I’ve never been confronted with. I am a patient person, and I only hope people would be patient with me when trying to understand direction or rules I’ve never heard in my life.
1 star — Very disappointing I’ve been to many hookah lounges around Chicago, and I’ve never experienced anything like this before. We were charged $15 per person plus an 18% service charge. We ordered just one hookah, a lemon-mint drink, and some snacks, but our final bill came to $124. The additional charges were not clearly explained, and the total was much higher than expected. Definitely check the prices and all extra fees before ordering. $124 for what we ordered felt completely unreasonable.
Had a great experience here! The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was beautiful, clean, and relaxing. Everything was well taken care of, and the service was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
