I stop by here on my lunch breaks from time to time to grab harder to find clove cigars. Its easy to find what im looking for here and I was surprised to see some difficult to aquire whiskey sitting on their shelves. Staff is friendly and helpful. Recommended spot

I would give this a half a star only because at least it's a business that is standing and not toppled over. It is a complete mess in the store. No one is cleaning the store properly. The one major thing that got to me was seeing older lady sweep while the other two people up front were chatting away. I would be embarrassed to be part of the company that treats their employee like that and human resources should be assumed of theirselves. The one and only bright side I saw was talking with an employee named jacinda...I think that's how you spell it. She was very polite and happy to help anyone with any issues they had. Unfortunately I heard she was let go so I will no longer be shopping at place that lets go an employee that has great customer service. Hire her back if you want to see the place thrive.

This Smokin' Joe's is a JOKE! They NEVER clean anything, they leave stale cigarello wrappers on the shelf, the have YEARS of dust accrued on their Alcohol shelf (filthy and disgusting), some people who work there are VERY rude to customers and it's obscene and just very unprofessional and rude. There was only one person working there who I actually enjoyed seeing every time, can't remember her name but she was a shorter chick, heavier set with red hair and always had a smile on her face when you came in...that's about the only positive thing I can say about this place. Everything was else just AWFUL! Don't say I didn't warn you. 🤷‍♀️

I would recommend going somewhere else for your purchases. This store blatantly shows they don’t care about their regular customers. Smokin Joes on University intentionally leaves stale cigarillo wrappers on their shelves knowing they have a no return policy on tobacco products. I stopped in after not visiting the store for several months to see the same stale cigarillo wraps on the shelf, which at this point, have been there over 6 months. Go across the street is my recommendation.

I visit here at least weekly. Competitive prices and a good selection. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable about the growing vape and smokeless tobacco products and merchandise. The current store manager Ginger is awesome and the store is always very clean with a good layout. The only thing I can say needs improvement is it takes a significantly longer amount of time to get in and out than It does at either of the other two tobacco stores that are right next door and across the street.
