So , I have been to royal hookah 3 times this year. The bar tenders are great and the hookah waiters are amazing. But, after today this will be my last time going due to one of the security guards. He is an older guy and bald . Each time I have came to royal he has been a huge problem. He has his picks and chooses. One minute you cannot do something and the next moment you see some he allows to . Also , he flirts a lot excessively to the point it’s creepy. I loved. This places and always wanted and got sections but after today you have lost a customer. never coming back !

I was very disappointed with my experience at Royal Hookah in Baton Rouge. The security guard was unprofessional and inappropriate. He spoke rudely to a young woman in our party, then later passed by with an attitude and called her back to search her purse using only his cell phone flashlight. The interaction felt unnecessary, uncomfortable, and poorly handled. Once we moved to the bar area, the experience didn’t improve. The bartender asked if we wanted to sit at the bar, even though there were no bar seats available. We were then told we couldn’t sit in any of the sections because there had to be four people in a party, despite several sections being empty. Instead, we were directed to sit alone in a separate room of the club, which felt isolating and unwelcoming. Between the unprofessional security behavior and the confusing, inconsistent seating rules, the overall atmosphere was not enjoyable. This establishment has potential, but customer service and professionalism—especially from security and staff—need serious improvement.
Had a blast it was nice and welcoming. The staff was to perfection and music was upbeat and smooth overall this my new hang out spot I'll be there tonight.
When we pulled in there is no where to park, but there's plenty of blocked off empty parking spaces (strike one). Then when you get to the door security is very disrespectful (strike 2) and when we got inside the lady at the door said they had just went up to $20 per person when we were told it was $10 (strike 3), but against our better judgment we still continue in the lounge. When we made it to our party (vip section) we were standing waiting for our group to finish dancing before we could go all the way in, another security guard comes up to us saying we couldn't stand there (strike 4) we ready to go and will never return. The party we were with was already squeezed in the section mind you the section is supposed to hold 12 people and for $450.00 we should sit comfortably and shouldn't be approached talking about we couldn't stand there in front of a empty section (which all of them was empty except the one we was in) waiting for them to finish dancing. I promise we're never returning (it could be free) no thank you!
First time here. Strict dress code policy which will be enforced. Shout out to handsome & sexy security, Kevin W.
