Too much fun at Maze! I came during a special Mardi Gras event hosted by Nickie and it was a night to remember (or not)! There were delicious cocktails, my favorite was the frozen watermelon drink! And the wings and fries were so delicious! Crisped to perfection and worth every penny. And you know we had to get the hookah! I’d highly recommend Maze to anyone in New Orleans looking for a lime. Thanks again Nickie! And the bartender Yoshi was a really cool guy too. 10/10 recommend!

Maze is one of those spots that really stands out from the moment you walk in, there's no escape.. literally. The drinks are crafted well and the menu has a nice variety. I've actually hosted a few events here and every single time they delivered. It was also a pleasure meeting Yoshi, his hospitality is unmatched. If you're looking for a place that feels elevated but still fun and welcoming, Maze is definitely something worth checking out.

And while my review for Cask was very favorable, the place eventually went downhill for many reasons, and did not warrant the five stars I had given to them. As far as the new business here now, MAZE, I have not been here yet. If I do decide to come here, I will definitely leave a review for it.
OLD REVIEW : This bar (CASK) is great! Wine & beer on tap, excellent selection of whiskeys, and thoughtful craft cocktails. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable, nice, and make delicious drinks. The music, atmosphere, and the décor is relaxing, fun, and enjoyable. Mid-City/edge of Lakeview needed such a place and Cask delivered. If you want to host a party, this is your place too. Cask hits on so many levels, and everyone should check it out.

MAZE Cocktail & Hookah Lounge was exactly the kind of laid-back vibe I needed in New Orleans. The hookah was smooth with a great variety of flavors to choose from, and the drinks were on point—just the right balance of flavor and kick. I didn’t get to try their food (they weren’t serving that night), but I loved that they allowed us to bring our own, which was a nice touch considering the circumstances. The atmosphere is chill, the service is easygoing, and it’s the kind of spot you can settle into for hours without realizing how late it’s gotten.
