Awful. All the milk is expired and the place smells like cigarettes. Found a milk and it had a leak. Owner refused to return it. Awful store and just disgusting. Garbage

Pretty good food. Smells horrific in there. Filled with old people yelling. They kicked me and my friends out for just standing waiting there for my friend to make their choice. The staff are these guys that are just always grumpy.

Easily the worst store in Brookline because of the newer owner. He's cheap and hasn't fixed his leaky roof in almost a decade, the store has signs of a mice problem as some items I have bought had nibble marks on them. Any potato chips or food items close to the ground are questionable at best. He has recently increased his prices to an actual crazy amount, he's trying to take advantage of the current inflation situation and since most people pay by SNAP he thinks he can get away with it. I will no longer support this establishment any further.

I am a regular because I live very close..If I want fresh veggies and meat, I go kurkmans , but if I want to get something like soda or water, or milk, I go here..If you like a certain brand or flavor, they will order it for a regular..if I want to play keno now n then, I go there...If no one's around, I chitchat with owner or clerk..once in while, there can be a bad smell, but that's rare. It's more like bug spray I think. Of course they cost more, they are a small convenience store.i don't want to go supermarket for one soda, besides you can't buy just one can there.. I wish they opened past 9 tho.
