Somehow this place turns a “quick stop” into “I might grab five things and stay a minute.” Clean, organized, and the staff keeps it running like a well-oiled machine. It’s honestly a one-stop shop for everything—drinks, cigarettes, quick essentials, and even legit hot or cold dinner options. And the deli? Easily the standout. Fresh, fast, and consistently good. It’s become my go-to when I need an easy dinner and don’t feel like overthinking life. Thank you for simply existing, A-mart! Between the friendly staff and all the options, it’s my go-to spot—hands down.

STORE IS VERY CLEAN! THEY HAVE EVERYTHING YOU WOULD WANT AND NEED, AT A FAIR PRICE, IF NOT CHEAPER! THE DELI IS VERY NICE, AND QUICK, EVEN WHEN THEIR STORE IS FULL! THE NICE THING IS WHEN SPEND $20 YOU CAN PICK FROM THEIR BASKET OF A FREE GIFT! COME IN, GIVE THEM TRY! YOU'LL BE HAPPY
A-Mart in Pittsfield is a dirty nasty business. Every time I've gone to A-Mart the parking lot is littered with litter. I bought a vaporiser here because I was trying to smoke less. Supposed to contain 20,000 puffs, the vaporiser was totally used up in 8 days. I did the math, I would've had to be taking 2,500 puffs per day to go through the liquid in 8 days. I really don't use the vape very much, pretty sure they sell vapes half full or actually defective. I asked the store owner for a refund or discount on a replacement, he refused. Poor customer service and I wouldn't trust the quality buying a vaporiser here.
Still after all these years have the best grinders. Loaded with meat and fresh
I normally don’t write reviews, but my recent experience at Amart on North Street in Pittsfield was so negative that I feel obligated to warn others. The level of customer service at this store is practically non-existent. Not only is there a complete lack of professionalism, but my last visit left me shocked, upset, and frankly insulted. I had intended to make a purchase, but before I could even do so, the store owner rudely asked me to leave. When I asked why, I was told it was due to his “inability to watch me and do his job at the same time.” The implication was crystal clear: he assumed I was there to steal. This baseless accusation was both offensive and absurd, especially since I was simply shopping like any other customer. Being treated like a criminal without cause is unacceptable in any business, let alone a local store that depends on community support. The owner’s behavior was not only unprofessional but downright disrespectful. Instead of welcoming paying customers, he chose to alienate and humiliate me. Needless to say, I will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to think twice before giving this establishment their business. There are plenty of other stores in Pittsfield where customers are treated with respect—Amart is clearly not one of them.
