Excellent selection of vinyl. Employees are helpful and knowledgeable. Decent selection of quality glass but significantly higher priced than similar items at other shops in the area like E-Cig City.

What a PLEASANT Surprise! The "BIGGIES" are back! If you like incense, this is a destination you won't regret visiting. There were a few new scents this time. Okay, I might be a little biased, but it's true. Good vibes, good staff, good stop!

I went in for RSD, and it was great! I didnt go until around 6pm because im not as 'hardcore' as some, and they still had a great selection of vinyls and 7-inches. I bought a few used records and they were reasonably priced and in great condition. A great small business to support for music if you are in the twin cities area.

This store is the reason I visit Maple Grove. I absolutely LOVE Down In The Valley, as it remains my favorite record store and has been since I was little. It has almost EVERYTHING you want/need and if you can't find it that day; they can order it! The staff is INCREDIBLY friendly and knowledgeable, they are always willing to help. I love that the store is always so clean when stopping by and the tunes are always amazing. (I love that they switch up genre's a lot at this store. They are always playing something for everyone). The head honcho Adam is really great and knows the products insanely well. This is easily the BEST record store in Minnesota and I have never ever seen anything like it.

Staff is friendly. Tons of different fun things to buy. Not as big of a selection as the Golden Valley location but still has vinyl, cds, collectables, incense, and more.
