I’m very disappointed with the way security handled a situation during my recent visit. I’ve enjoyed coming to The Pub before, which is exactly why this experience was so frustrating. I never actually left the building. I made it toward the exit, turned back to look for my friend, and was then told I had to go outside, get back in line, and be checked again. I already had a wristband and had not exited the building, so I did not understand why I needed to go through the entire process again. What made the situation worse was the attitude and lack of professionalism from some of the security staff. One of the security men was going back and forth with me and getting in my face instead of calmly explaining the policy or trying to de-escalate the situation. At the same time, the front-door host put her head down and laughed, which made the situation feel even more disrespectful, as though I was being picked on or made into a joke instead of being treated like a customer with a legitimate concern. Security’s job is not only to enforce rules, but also to remain aware of what is happening around them, communicate with one another, and help maintain a safe and peaceful environment. Even after I stepped outside as instructed, there seemed to be confusion about whether I was even supposed to be checked again. That lack of communication made the entire situation unnecessarily frustrating. If I never left in the first place, had a wristband, and staff members had seen that, I still do not understand why I needed to be searched again just to get back to my friends. I get if I went outside but I stopped by front desk, turned back because I realized my friend was not behind me. I do want to acknowledge Daniel, who I was told is a newer employee. He was the only person who stepped in and genuinely tried to de-escalate the situation professionally, and I appreciated the way he handled himself. I respect security and understand that they have a job to do, but respect should go both ways. Staff should not escalate situations, get in customers’ faces, laugh while a customer is upset, or make someone feel singled out because of poor communication between employees. I genuinely love this place and do plan on coming back. I hope management takes this seriously and considers additional customer service and de-escalation training for the security team because this particular situation was handled poorly.

Ever been to that place that everybody seems to know each other and vibe together creating a atmosphere full of great energy and good times. The Pub is one of those places. Friendly people great staff and real drinks.. Food was cooked good served fast and on point

Food: definitely recommend the potato kegs. They are addicting and it feels wrong if we don't get them when we go. Service: Will is the absolute best and he remembers what drinks you like. I go just about every Thursday night for karaoke.

The locals are so funny and friendly!!! By far the best little pool hall and sports bar in D’Iberville Mississippi!!!

Went to watch the college football championship game and they didn’t even know that the game was happening. They were also unwilling to turn up the volume on the TV playing the game. Disappointed because I chose this bar for it being listed as a sports bar. Food was also underwhelming for the price and took a while to come out. And I ordered a diet coke that came in a bottle rather than fountain. Bartender Silver was great! Otherwise, vibes were not it.
