I hate I have to write this, but alas, here we are… TLDR version: this used to be a 5 star shop, and my 2x/week stop for vapes and other supplies but unfortunately the price jumps ($34.99 per vape!) have caused me to go elsewhere and make me lower this to 3 stars. The shop is nice, and the supply is good. But they have completely priced themselves out as of 8/19/25. Explained below: I got put on this shop months back by a guy working in a gas station in Clinton. The gas station had the best vape/vape store products prices I had seen in Jackson and the guy working the counter told me to check out Vaping Time since it was closer to where I lived and owned by the same guy (or something like that). I think ownership had just changed and The prices on everything at VT were some of the lowest in JXN and there was a 20% off everything sale. Smoking hot deals on vapes, kratom, cbd, whatever they had. I knew it wouldn’t last forever but figured it would be the 20% off sale that would stop eventually. Well, over time the prices on certain items started to creep up. I noted 2 price increases on certain items between April of 2025 and August of 2025. The vape prices were still some of the best in town though and stayed priced right. I think it was $21 or $22 On all vapes and then you got the discount. It was even cheaper for certain disposable vapes that had a detachable battery. I was walking out with non battery refills for like $13.90. Almost internet retail prices. I have a lot of respect for shops that don’t jack up the price and patronize them almost exclusively. It was a plus that this shop is always clean, with good workers (shout out to Ram, who moved to Dallas last week) and a strong selection of products. I stopped in today for a refill and was shocked to see that the price of all the vapes was now $34.99!. Additionally all the lower priced refill only vapes were no longer available. I was shocked. That increase makes this shop now one of the most expensive I know of in the area. The woman working just kept saying “everyone is charging this price now” like I don’t know the local prices. fast lane, like .5 miles away sells them for $21.99 or the shell on fortification sells theirs for $24.99. There is another shell station in Richland that sells theirs for $18.99 for one or $30 for two. But my fave shop, the shop with the (ex) best prices in town is now selling for $34.99/each. Wild. Sad. I hate to pull VT from my rotation but I can’t justify paying $10-$12 more just cause the shop is clean. I’ll miss it for sure. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on the price change. It’s a real shame. I knew the lowest price in town deal wouldn’t last, but I just figured it would be the 20% off everything sale that would end. I want to make clear ź guythough, if you don’t care about price this is still a solid choice. But if you want the best deal, Vaping Time is no longer it.

I grew up in Mexia, At 60 years old I never paid that much auto the vaping scene, I went in here for the first time and I was impressed at the very familiar small town courtesy I received when I weny in. Polite, Friendly and most important they laughed at my stupid dad joke. Much appreciated
