Let me start with the core experience of Stone Ledge Distillery, they specialize in small batch spirits and hand crafted cocktails. Which are beyond delightful! They have a great menu, with many cocktail choices and beautiful garnishes. The building is cozy, inviting and well kept. The Whiskey was lovely, I'm my opinion, definitely crafted with intention. Prices do reflect on the quality of spirits and ambiance of the venue. We went on the Sunday of Memorial Weekend in the afternoon. Driving through Defiance is beautiful and a wonderful stop for a weekend drive. But... I felt that compared to other establishments in the area, the Stone Ledge was missing out on the long weekend. It was a ghost town there and the bartender seemed unbothered by any business he may have missed. And even though they have snacks available for purchase, if they sliced and plated their items, they might have better success with them. Thanks for having us!

Stone Ledge Distillery is a really cool spot if you’re into craft cocktails and a laid-back atmosphere. The place has a cozy indoor bar feel, but what really stands out is the outdoor space—plenty of room to hang out, especially when the weather’s nice. The drinks are the highlight. They put real care into their cocktails, and you can tell they take pride in their spirits. The smoked old fashioned is a must-try, and everything we had was smooth and well-made. The staff is friendly and engaging, which makes the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of place where you can kick back, relax, and enjoy a few drinks with friends. They don’t serve food, but you can bring your own, which is a nice bonus and makes it easy to stay awhile. Overall, it’s a unique little distillery with a great vibe. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink or planning to hang out for a while, it’s definitely worth checking out.

Excellent little stop on our ride. Super friendly staff & very clean. Minimal food but great drinks.

The vibe is same it was under previous names and owners. The cost of drinks and the pours are extreme. I don't usually complain on the amount of pour in a drink but when I can't enjoy and finish because it's too strong and at $11 per drink is too much. The bands are great. Also for the price of the drinks and the looks of the seating outside..improvements could be made. This was my 2nd visit.

I do not understand how this place has the rating it does.. My husband had to tell the bartender his order three times. We only ordered a Pepsi, beer and shot of whiskey.Very Over priced..$5 for a can of Pepsi. Our check for three items was $30. Not a place to return to. We were going to come with our group for a planned ride with several motorcycles. The ride will be going some where else. Thank you to the owner for your reply but assuming we were looking for the bar experience was a very unprofeesional opinion that was not yours to have. We were looking for great customer service which in NO way, shape or form did we experience.
