Really cute and absolutely delicious restaurant. Flavors hit, authentic, well priced, and amazing service. Nice background music, easy to talk and enjoy the vibes. Family run restaurant. Place is clean too. Highly recommend.

Went in on a Friday night, sat on the patio with nice weather. We ordered the appetizer combo and the dips were flavorful and the hummus was very smooth. The pita is warm and cut into bite size pieces and when we asked for more they were happy to oblige. We ordered the halum cheese which also had pita and it was divine. The oil, cheese and sesame seeds were perfectly balanced and we cut into cubes for easy sharing. For the main we shared the chicken shawarma platter on rice. It was the perfect amount for 2 people. Great spot for a casual tasty meal. Great for sharing. Nothing fancy but the food in fantastic!

Aladdin’s Cafe never misses. Have you ever been asked the question: “If you were stranded on an island and could only take one food with you, what would it be?” My answer? Without hesitation — Aladdin’s Cafe. And let’s be real… if I could afford it, I would eat here every single day. The food is always incredible, but this time the customer service truly went above and beyond. I ordered through DoorDash and got the appetizer sampler (which is amazing on its own) plus extra dolmas—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. What really stood out, though, was how thoughtful and kind they were with my order. That extra effort did not go unnoticed and honestly made my night. It’s rare to feel that level of care through a delivery app, and it says a lot about the people behind this place. While there are several similar restaurants in KC… don’t even bother — go straight here. It honestly doesn’t matter what you order; it’s all good enough to write home about, and you won’t regret it. And do yourself a favor and add on a Rose Lemonade — trust me. Consistently delicious food + genuinely great service = a customer for life. Kansas City is lucky to have this spot. I’ll be ordering again very soon.

They have the best hummus I’ve ever tasted in my life. Not to mention how good ALL of the food is

We have been here every day this week, just working our way through the menu. Everything is delicious! There are dishes from various countries and are unique to what we have had at the many Mediterranean restaurants we’ve been to in California. The Shishtaouk was my favorite with an amazing marinaded chicken. My wife loves the Petra Platter with the amazing hummus. Still, every time we came we switched it up and we were not disappointed. Be sure to try the Raja dip and the Halum cheese.
