I've shopped at the new location a couple times and was making a home out of the store with my partner but now I have to say I'm sad I won't be shopping here anymore. I enjoyed the selection, the prices, and the service, but the owner has been rude and off-putting both times I've run into him. I'll be the first to say I look young, especially clean shaven, and I know their are certain legal requirements these shops must go by. However my first time running into him I was grabbing some glassware my partner fell in love with, and he immediately followed me in and was hostile about my being their without ID being checked. There was no one around to check IDs and I happily handed it over for him to check, just for him to accuse it of being fake and say "just giving some help, but letting [me] know he's gonna have to scan it before he sells anything." I mentioned wanting to browse some things and he simply walked off. I had to get another person's help actually checking anything, but the lady I spoke to next was extremely nice and helped me choose some very nice pieces (which he fell in love with btw, thank you!!!), scanned my ID, and wished my partner best wishes for his birthday. That said I decided to walk it off, but my second run in with the same man and it was the same hostile attitude. Granted, I did not have my ID or wallet on myself and know they can't exactly skirt me and my partner by on just my partners ID (we are both in our 20s), but he started in on us being in that section which we apologized about. I told him I had rarely been asked that and he shot back "well then my employees aren't doing their job. I am the owner and you're not allowed back here without your ID." I'm not saying you're not correct about that and I'm not saying you're not likely bound by law to those rules, but don't throw your employees under the bus and don't be so hostile. There's a dozen smoke shops within the quarter mile, I'll bring my business to any of them.

im highly disappointed with how my boyfriend and I were treated today…very very sad about my experience and will never be returning. I went in causally with my partner looking for a new piece…we had been in the store for a good five to ten minutes when this extremely rude heavy-set bearded man appeared out of nowhere and demanded our ID’s. i had mine but unfortunately my partner forgot his…totally get he would have to leave because of that. however, this man was rude and didn’t really give us any time to speak. he said we were not allowed in that area at that time without our ID’s being scanned before even “entering the store” which…it’s a smoke shop. as we entered, there were no employees around to have scanned our ID’s…and if we weren’t supposed to be in the store without them being scanned, why wasn’t there a security guard like there are at most dispensaries..? maybe because it’s a smoke shop… I’ve been there numerous times and no one ever had to scan my ID before buying anything. he made us super uncomfortable…with a deadpan face, he said “well I can’t sell to either of you today. my employees aren’t doing their job and so you can leave the store. I’m the manager I’m allowed to act like this”. I couldn’t believe he threw us out like that…doesn’t matter your position in your job, you cannot treat people with such blatant disregard and disrespect. I have been to this location so many times and have dealt with such wonderful women and staff members…I couldn’t believe this coarse manager would throw them under the bus like that and speak to my partner and I as if we had been loitering or as if we are underaged. we were minding our business and just looking at pieces from afar…never once have I had to have my ID checked for window shopping. I used to dig this smoke shop but never again will I shop here, this man completely ruined our experience. what a loser treating folks like that. shame on you.

I was disappointed with how my husband and I were treated today 7/14/25 ( 4:30pm ish )by the staff in this location (31 Gardner rd. Plaistow NH ) We went in to look for cigars and browse the alcohol selections. When we walked to the back area to look to see if there was a bathroom, a woman with long dark hair, heavy set, came out and abruptly said “ we don’t have a bathroom here, you can’t go beyond this line”. We didn’t see a sign anywhere and were taken aback by her rudeness. No problem we said and we walked to look at the cigars that were locked up. She then proceeded to the counter where the other cashiers were and started talking about us and pointing at us . Then they all started looking at us like we committed a crime or something. It was very odd. Then we waited for 10 minutes for help in getting some cigars but No one came over to help us. We were very disappointed in this lack of care the staff showed towards us. It was honestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced . Rude, not helpful and you might want to reassess who you have working with the public in that store. It’s a beautiful store but because of the way we were treated, sadly we will not be back.

Great selection of beer! I am interested in stouts, porters, and dark lagers. I was pleasantly surprised to find a wide variety to choose from.
