Cool little spot, the humidor had a decent selection for its size the seating was comfortable with some nice spanish music going but not too loud. it does seem like its byob for a price wich was like 15$ wich was cool. The prices of the sticks where a little bit high but then again im a Texan (where cigars aren't over priced) so for instance a 10$ camacho was $18 at that price im used to almost getting a liga privada no.9 for $20 I did end up grabbing a liga privada papa fritas for 13$ it was good definitely not dry and seemed to be in perfect humidity! So for the experience i wouldn't mind returning. I would definitely say its a hidden jem for cigar lovers in the bronx.

I am a member of a wonderful cigar club by the Stadium. This cigar shop is the same distance from my house in the opposite direction. I've been wanting to try it so i packed my day bag to go introduce myself, spend money and maybe make friends. Didn't happen... Didn't get the opportunity.... Traveled there. They open at 11:30. hlaf hour later than my other lounge. No biggie... I have a coffee down the block. thier website says they are open. It's 11:45 on a Wednesday... The gate is down. They guy in the shop next door, told me "the owner opens up when he wants to". "A different time every day". WTFFFFF Never again! When I got my promotion in Starbucks, the first thing my best buddy Mr. Ward told me was that I needed to open the same time every single day! He was 100% right and I never wavered from that! At any job I've ever had! That is the number one rule of retail unless of course your business is a hobby and u open up "any time u want" and that's fine but change the time on your site to opens "whenever I feel like" and save people a trip there only to wind up 4 miles away back at the Stadium... For me to take the time to write this, I don't do lightly.. Save the trip and got to Papa Juan.... my name is Eric. u can't meet me there exactly when they open next Wednesday Wasted 2hrs of my day. im going to make this go viral!
I walked in here on a Saturday night looking for somewhere to relax and have a smoke while waiting for the wife to get out of a concert at Lehman. I asked the woman if it was okay if I smoked here and she said with a smile and in Spanish where else would you smoke it, of course you can. The reason I asked is because I'd never been and I was in sweats. I would definitely recommend. Very welcoming.
This is a must stop at if you are a cigar lover and visiting NYC. Thank you Raymond for your hospitality. Loved the shop... great atmosphere... great times with friends. Check out his humidor and the house Maduro cigars.
Very cool lounge. The staff and patrons were welcoming. The lounge is beautiful and the cigar selection was solid. If you're in the Bronx, def worth a try.
