I went in to buy a couple of items and noticed I was being overcharged. I was paying in cash and simply asked for a receipt to confirm the prices. The man behind the counter immediately became aggressive and hostile. He claimed, “there’s no receipts for cash transactions,” which is not true – every customer has the right to a receipt, regardless of payment method. When I calmly asked again, he escalated the situation by kicking me out of the store, showing me his middle finger, and shouting insults. I was shocked at how nasty and unprofessional he became over something so basic. I’ve worked in hospitality and I know what this is about – it’s likely about avoiding taxes by not reporting cash sales. It’s dishonest, and no customer should be treated this way for asking a simple question. I have photos of how I was treated in case anyone doubts this. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. Spend your money where people treat you with respect and transparency.
