This is my favorite cigar bar in The city. It is a classy establishment that manages to feel both upscale and perfectly relaxing. Whether you’re looking to sit at the bar or tuck away into a corner of their library with a book and a cigar, the atmosphere is unmatched. The staff here are absolutely amazing. I visit quite often with my cat, and they are always so welcoming—it has truly become our go-to spot. My favorite cocktail is Lady Luck. 🍸 Now that the weather is nice, they opened also outdoor seating area. If you enjoy cigars and are looking for a sophisticated yet comfortable spot in New York, this is definitely the place to be.

The atmosphere is great! The smell of the cigars change the flavors of wine and the book background is gorgeous. The food left a lot to be desired. Carts crackers that I can get from a grocery store and meats that come out of packaged meats from a grocery deli at a much higher price. Definitely not true charcuterie and not worth the price.

Chill place. Had a really good experience at Hudson Bar and Books. One of the best things about this spot is that it’s open late, which made it a great place to unwind and enjoy the night. The service was excellent, and the whiskey selection was definitely a highlight — plenty of great options if you appreciate a solid pour. The only downside for me was the cigar smoke. If you’re sensitive to smoke, the smell and air circulation can be a bit much. That said, if you know what to expect going in, it still has a cool atmosphere and a unique vibe. Overall, a solid late-night spot with great service and a strong whiskey selection.

Beautifully cultivated whiskeys and scotch. Great cigars - top notch selections.

It was not busy whatsoever when we visited, we were told to pick a table so we did (in the non-smoking section), it took about 45 minutes to even get menus. We wound up leaving to go to the wine bar next door, which had fabulous wine and service. Additionally, there are many fish crammed into a very tiny fish tank here that seems to be a very cruel tank to be keeping them in.
