It is a great place to eat traditional Dominican food; the service was exceptional, and the food was very good—and, above all, well-cooked. I highly recommend this place.

First time at this mofongo in st Nicolas and 187th . The service was outstanding Marilony was so attentive from the bar to what to order. She gave great advice on what to eat. I am a picky eater but she was right on the order I had . Great atmosphere and great waitress again the bar man d Marilony is the best I will go back just because if her.

Had a great time, food was authentic & traditional Dominican made. Service wasn't that great but not horrible. To order a when dinning took about 10 minutes without exaggeration. The price was very reasonable, the place was fun and im definitely going back.

I was in the neighborhood and decided to stop by for the first time and was expecting a great meal. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations. My mofongo was cold and very dry and the churrasco was okay, it lacked seasoning and flavor. The sides came with what seemed to be chimichurri and a butter sauce but neither added much to the dish. For the price, I expected something much more flavorful and satisfying. I left disappointed because this a staple in the neighborhood. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Underwhelming experience with even more uninspired flavor. Came in on a Thursday night after touring the city of NYC . Drove 35 minutes from Manhattan to this restaurant because I’ve heard great things about it . I was disappointed to find out that the recommendation did not live up to the billing . Before walking in, security guards are at the front door and as soon as you walk in, the place is blasting music that I could barely hear my own thoughts let alone speak to my partner next to me! We ordered briefly, water came in dirty glasses. The complimentary bread was a great touch before the meal And i ordered the shrimp mofongo as the entree. We waited a while to get our food ( probably cause our server was using the restroom) Definitely not a family friendly restaurant after 8 PM! The place has only one bathroom for both women and men. A trip to the bathroom to wash my hands, took a total of 20 minutes because I had to wait on OUR SERVER to finish using it. Very weird since the staff and customer should have separate restrooms. I usually judge a place based on how clean the restroom was and this place had a very dirty and unsanitary restroom. The mofongo was dry, unflavored, and very mid! The only takeaway was the plantain which was cooked correctly! Keep in mind that the tip is included in your bill without giving you the opportunity to compensate based on your experience. All in all i paid 65$ for an app,one entree, and included service fees never liked these deceptive tactics to get people to tip more. Not worth the price cause it was an awful experience.
