I went to smooth on 7/18 around 7pm on a Saturday. It was a little dead in there but that’s to be expected completely b/c it was early . The place and atmosphere was beautiful. The service was top notch and the food was THE BEST I’ve had in a while . The music was definitely grown folks music . And overall I loved it . What I did not like was buying a drink and the server stated they split drink prices in half . So my receipt showed I bought 2 shots of Repo ocho for 8 dollars a peice , which was 16 dollars so I thought but my receipt showed it was 16 a peice plus gratuity making my total for 2 shots 56 dollars . When asked I was told that’s just how they split the drinks up. So on top of my 150 tab . I had a 56 dollar drink tab so our check was roughly 200 dollars for an empty bar and 2 shots. Everything else was great just be careful with the gratuity that’s added and how they “split” drink prices.

Ok. If you were one of those who gave low stars, TRY SMOOTH AGAIN!! My husband and I came for a date night. We got here at 6:30 tonight (Friday) and were about the only ones there. Outside, unassuming, inside though? Gorgeous. Wonderful atmosphere 10/10. I had dirty martinis and my husband had an old fashioned. To eat we had sweet potato truffle fries, he had the creamy creole salmon and I had the lamb lollipop entree. Absolutely killer. The Mac n cheese was some of the best we have had. The sauce on the lamb and the salmon was so so good. We also got a hookah with the Mi Amore shisha. We will absolutely be back. This place is extremely underrated and the staff was so so sweet and amazing. Our waitress/bartender was Tie, and she was fantastic!

Outside is very unassuming. The inside though, very vivacious, open, and sultry. Its a whole experience. There's a plethora of seating including a few intimate reserved areas for special occasions. I also appreciate the open patio which has its own unique vibe. I just tried the HH bites. I ordered the Jerk Chicken Eggrolls. They were bland and had absolutely no flavor or seasoning. I was very disappointed but hungry. Another party also ordered all 3 eggrolls but they were burned and had hair in them. She sent them back and her claim was disputed by both the manager and bartender. The fact that the burned Eggrolls were not replaced without a triple check shocked me. I was flabbergasted. Based on that interaction she proclaimed she wouldn't return nor would I. I was disappointed in that interaction. I was going to order the lamb and pasta but decided against it.

This place is WONDERFUL! The interior design is top tier.. Food was so flavorful and delicious. We had the eggrolls for an app and the Creole Salmon for entree. The Hostess was indeed the Hostess with The Mostess(Name started with an L but can’t remember it) She greeted everyone so pleasantly and kind and made everyone feel so good. Anna was our waitress and she was new but still amazing! If I had one suggestion it would have just been having more than 1 bathroom. Overall phenomenal experience.

Highly recommend👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽Beautiful venue 😍 delicious food and impeccable service!!! The owner and the staff were kind, knowledgeable, personable, and accommodating!!! Order the Prime Rib sliders 1st, salmon sliders next, crispy sweet potato fries and a margarita and you will not be disappointed 😋😋😋 Was here for 2 events during Charlotte Cigar Week! Will DEFINITELY be visiting again!
