I live in Oakridge and it's hard to find my cigars. I've always been able to make a quick trip to the store less than 10min away. Walk in greeted with smiles and happiness until March 17, 2026 at about 8:26pm. We just had bad weather and the power was off at the house. So I go into the store like I normally do, walk to the cigars and reach to grab a couple packs like I've done so many times before. All of a sudden I hear this guy yelling at me to get from behind his counter. I'm confused because his counter is to the left of me and the counter to the right of me is not in front of the cigars. I've never had anyone treat me like a criminal going into a smoke shop. I hope it's not because I was a black man. As long as that young white male is working there I don't plan in going back. I'm almost 50yrs old and have never been treated like a criminal for trying to buy $7 worth of cigars. There is a clear path to the cigars, no rope, no line in the floor, just two display cases sitting 3-4' apart.

I've pretty much always had good service at this location. Ive always had helpful staff. I do agree that there is a big employee turnover. My biggest problem is they still charge a fee to use debit or credit card. Those days were over years ago. So we basically pay the fee for the owners machine. Also make sure to leave cash tips because if they are on card the owners deducts cc machine fee from employee tips then splits them up to them. Double dipping. Not nice.

Came in this morning and glad to see they brought KT back, very knowledgeable on the products and always very helpful, definitely my favorite worker there, she’ll “never lead you astray friend”

Make sure you check the expiration dates before you leave. Ended up with a bottle of vape juice that expired in 2024.

I like shopping here even though it’s 15 minutes from my house. The employees are always nice and the prices are comparable. I’ve never bought a bad/broken vape here. Side note, I think it’s weird I can’t see it on Google maps unless I search for it in the search bar. If I just open the map and try to zoom to the store, it doesn’t show up. It’s weird because Dominos, Verizon, Jersey Mikes and Carolina Care all show up.
