So, while I do like the selection in the store and employees are almost always seem polite, if not friendly. However, I have noticed, especially in the past few years at their newer location, my white husband is NEVER asked for his ID. I, on the other hand have been asked every single time I go to pay for over a decade. I am aware that it is the store's policy to check ID when presented with a debit or credit card, but it seems like this really only applies to Black and brown people. If it's policy to check ID, that should apply to ALL customers, not just us that aren't white. I like the contents of the store, but smoke shops are a dime a dozen and considering I am both embarrassed and ashamed I continued to give them my money for so long, I'll be finding a new smoke shop to frequent.

They really break your balls with the no refunds thing. Literally walked out with something and walked right back in because I felt pressured to buy something without studying it for an hour first only to find out it had a screw on tip I didnt want, and everything they did have that I wanted was overpriced so im stuck with some piece I never wanted to begin with. Only place I know of in the entire pnw that has this policy Edit: Get a load of this, what they sold me was broken, what a joke. $35 straight in the toilet.

I travel all over the Western United States and I visit many smoke shops. Best place to get vapes and other products sold at these businesses. The Hot Box is one of the best places I visited across the West Coast. Very clean store with everything you can think of and amazing customer service! Big shout out to their employee Blake! This guy went the extra mile to get me what I needed at the price I wanted to pay! They have an amazing team. You can tell they genuinely love their job! Next time I'm in that area I WILL be stopping here again! Thanks again for your help Blake It was much appreciated. 🙂👍📈

Very cool place. Has a price point for every budget. I saw Glass pieces as high as $3000. Very cool glass art. Lots to see and window shop. More than pipes, dab rigs, and bongs here. They have shirts, hats, big kid toys & gizmos and gadgets

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but after asking the price for a Puffco device on 3/2/26 and the employee saying "can't give pricing over the phone" after saying I want to be sure I bring the proper amount of cash in, I'll purchase my Puffco and BMG pieces/accessories else where. No employee in the past has ever done this before so either they never chose to follow the policy or its a new policy either way bad business practice.
