First time and last time because of the awkward and intentional standoffish manner of the owner??/employee. I was on a phone call, using my wireless earbuds as I pulled up and parked in the handicap parking directly in front of the entrance. After a minute or so I noticed this figure standing in the doorway appearing as though they was staring at me. The figure did not move the whole time I was in my vehicle, on the phone. Got out of my vehicle, making sure all windows were open, providing fresh air for my dogs and making sure their water dish was filled up. I entered through the same door I noticed the haunting figure watching me just a few moments prior. No customers inside and only one employee standing behind the counter, acting as if I was not even in the room. He stared at me with a sour expression on his face and said nothing whatsoever. I started to walk around and the awkwardness only got stronger due to the silence. I broke the silence inquiring about their steamrollers. I let him know an employee at their sister store, off 82nd and Johnson Creek, referred me to this location because of their cheaper prices and bigger selection. He didn't respond, making the awkward encounter continue. He pointed me in the direction of the steamrollers and I walked in that direction but couldn't find them. I walked back and forth a couple of times and asked again where the seleftion of steamrollers were. He just gave a disgusted look and errupted with a hostile statement about me not understanding directions and not being able to look with my eyes. Usually, I would meet fire with more fire but something in me told me to hold my composure and focus on finding a suitable steamroller because I had broke mine days ago and it was an emergency to get a new one. I found the section and asked to see a couple of them and inquired about prices. My questions only infuriated him even more and his responses were intentional and direct. As I asked to see more he would take deep breaths and grab at the pipes and place them firmly on the glass counters. His posture and overall off-putting demeanor kept me several feet away from him and the glass counter. I didn't find a piece to my liking and I passed on making a purchase. But, before I left I remembered I needed my favorite brand of rolling papers from OCB. I asked what sizes they carry and w/out looking he said they make one size. I knew that was incorrect as he reached back to grab a pack and noticed multiple sizes and said, "I guess there are more than one size." He didn't ask me what size I wanted and handed me 1" inch papers but I needed the size that fits the cheater rolling device lol and he said that the 1 inch are the right size. I didn't want to argue but he wasn't giving me what I wanted and so I asked him to hand me the rolling device and he was confused but grabbed the device and rang it up along with the incorrect papers. Then gave me a total with the sound of more disdain. Now, I was done with his continual rude and snide behavior and it was time for me to stand my ground. I ignored him telling me the total not once but twice. As I held up the cheater rolling device and put the 1 inch papers up to it. I adjusted my speaking volume to meet his and illustrated that I wanted a bigger size up, 1 1/4 inch papers to perfectly fit the device and the exact papers I originally asked for. He noticed the difference and grabbed the size I wanted and gave me a new total. I handed him the incorrect papers and the rolling device and said I only wanted the papers. He made a comment about me not buying the rolling device now and I said that I already told him I owned the device and I only asked for the device to illustrate the difference. That obviously frustrated him more and I was nonchalant and unconcerned with his inner turmoil. I paid and left and he said nothing. I got in my vehicle and he walked outside with me and went inside a back door. Maybe he needed a smoke break. Find out later he is the same with most. Needs a different career or new perspective. Sad 1st and last impression 🙁

Tony was huge help. I had a lot of questions about different products and he took the time to answer them all while still taking care of other customers.
I had a really disappointing experience here today. The employee who helped me was extremely rude and standoffish from the moment I walked in. He handled my purchased items carelessly, literally tossing them into a bag without any concern for whether they might break. On top of that he didn’t offer me a receipt or even acknowledge me beyond the bare minimum. Customer service should never feel this hostile or dissmisive. I left feeling frustrated and honestly won’t be back. Hopefully management addresses this because nobody should be treated this way!!!
Tyler was AWESOME!! Thank you for your help! I got a dud vape a couple days ago and you guys always take care of me at any of your stores! I’ve been a loyal HOP customer for 2 years since I first visited the Raleigh Hills location- thank you for being so rad!!
Really amazing communication from Michael! Gave me a really nice deal on a bong, and showed me that the inner pipe piece is removable (no one ever taught me)! Also, beautiful layout and bong variety ^^
